SC EP:242 The Navajo Nation and Sasquatch

Duke and I sit down with a tribal member of the Navajo Nation. He shares with us his own encounters as well as encounters around the reservation that he has looked into. My guest also shares how the Native American’s view these creatures.

I will also be speaking to a witness who now lives in England but he shares with us encounters he had in California. He would visit his friend when he was younger and describe the house being slapped, strange knocks on windows and having things thrown at them while they were out deep in the property.

Look for Sasquatch Chronicles gear around the beginning of September.

Bigfoot Outlaws interviewed Brenda Harris in regard to the deaths in this area Caveman was speaking about. Coonbo postulates that the watercourses in this area have been very contaminated a few years ago and these chemicals are known to cause mentally aberrant behavior in humans. Coonbo said that to walk, drink and swim in this water and eating the game that drink and exists in this water could be a reason for these deaths.

What a great show. Please bring Caveman and Duke back for a whole show. I wish the whole hour could have been spent with him. I enjoyed the other guest but I hope Caveman will get the whole hour for the next visit.

  4. Frankie P

Wow! This one was really awesome, and it really makes me feel good with him and Brenda and the way they are helping the people on the reservation, and sharing with us, because you never know when the creatures will be our neighbors too. Really good show and enjoyed “Caveman” and hearing from Duke again too! Thank you guys and guest!

Very true FS, but most of my breathing issues are asthma and black mold related, I was infested and had it growing in my lungs two times, the later had me in the Emergency room twice, nearly choked to death. One of the reasons I live In Western Montana, low-no humidity, easier to breathe. The moral is, don’t go into caves and creepy old deserted houses with out at least a dust mask on to protect yourself from whatever may be floating around or stirred up when you pass through it……..Duke

      • m99

@Duke: No kidding man! I have allergies, asthma and have been black mold infestation twice & was accused of smoking when I wasn’t. I wish we could live in Montana but my husband has to live on the coast with his career. Maybe in the future. Good Show. Thanks Wes and Duke.

Not far from Sacramento, Ca. Much cooler weather out here for a change:)
It’s normal for our temps to be 108 to 115 during July and Aug.

Great show this evening Wess !
Caveman and Duke, love listening to you two:)

Really great show. I will have to finish listening in the morning but wanted to put my 2 cents worth in – loved Caveman! Wes please have him on again and with Duke again. Duke always makes me laugh. If my mind strays while listening but hear Duke chuckle I’ll go back to hear what he was laughing at. The Native American accounts and the long history they have with the Sassys should be enough for proof of their existence in a normal world but as we all know this world is cockeyed or just plain cross-eyed with tunnel vision. Now if y’all will excuse me I need to go squirt my authority around my property – which isn’t going to be easy for me since I’m woman and a 52 yr old woman at that with arthritic knees so I might squat and not be able to get back up again -if so it’s all Caveman’s fault. lol

      • Susan B

Yes, m99, you are correct. I hadn’t listened to the whole show when I wrote that. It was late and I wanted to go to bed. I feel really stupid now. Oops. Then after listening to the rest of the show I was heartbroken by how the government is just shoving the dangerous BF’s onto native land. I knew we had sadist in our government but it still sickens me to hear another story of just how really evil they are. I wish this was a way we could get that info out in a big way to the public.

Very interesting episode. Have to admit when the first guest admitted to going out to shooting rabbits for no reason other than boredom or needing an ‘adventure’, my brain exploded. To casually admit that you aren’t a hunter (no issues with people who know what they are doing and respect nature in the process) but just a guy who can maim an animal for fun, is unstable in my books. Contrast that guests comment with Duke’s comment about using rock salt on a sasquatch (slightly larger than a rabbit, no?) to drive the point home and not injure the creature and you have two very different views on shooting. Great show – really enjoyed it but this shooting for fun stuff is total BS to me and a warning sign. Thanks Wes.

Caveman rocks… We need to hear more from this man. Native Americans are BF experts… Pull my legs and arms off, over my dead body. I don’t care how big it is, a simple 9mm into the forehead will do in a 12 foot monster….

What I like about Wes is he doesn’t inject his own experiences and opinions, but lets the guest tell the story without him interrupting and talking about himself.

    • Wes

Yeah there wasn’t anything I could do to fix it or make it sound better….its frustrating because I always strive to make sure the audio quality is better than most.

  10. Tom E

Wes, you’re doing it right. Great show! Great to hear Duke as well. Can you share the locations the first guest was talking about, searching google maps is not producing any results…

  11. maryann s

Really appreciate hearing cave man doing the sounds for us. Most guests say they can’t mimic it but he did the sounds for us which was awesome to hear! Loved this episode.

Wow what a great show and had fun listening to a fellow tribal member and I must say in the summer of 2004 we where camping in the mountain range that runs north to south along the Arizona New Mexico border and heard the sounds caveman made just before dawn. My girlfriend now wife woke me up to what sounded to me like some drunks arguing and as they got louder I called out to my cousins in the tent next to us and all I got in response was fire arms being cocked. As soon as that happened the morning went super quiet and nothing else happened but we didn’t stay past noon that day and none of us really talked about it until after we got home. My wife had a great first camp out on the Rez! Thanks again Wes for the great show

lots of places on the San Juan River in the dense trees and bushes are Squatchy. Nights where the moon is shining and the coyotes are howling and barking you will hear unusual things. I have had several encounters in Montezuma Creek, Ut area and in the 80’s the Mormon Missionaries have told us they seen something run along their pickup trucks at 45 mph while they were visiting people. I have heard foot steps run away from me, around me and HUGE splashes in the river. unexplained noises and the cracking of twigs are common. People simply stay in the light there. Its weird, I never wanted to talk about the Skin Walkers simply because of the fear of inviting the spirit of the creatures to a home. Homes are sacred and a place where happiness dwell and to talk about an unholy things can bring unholy entities, which is why the majority of the culture do not talk about it. Because it lives in darkness, by nature its ambiguous. I have always wanted to invite all skeptics in my life to experience the Skin Walker spirits, especially my friends who are Caucasian and rely so heavily on information from books. It has always been my belief books have a tendency of grooming the public of buying in on what ever the subject is. Real Stories/Experience is much different from literature and to all the people who laugh at Native American beliefs, I wish you could brave a night, where you know you are truly alone to build a camp fire and listen to the sounds of darkness as you sleep. I know you will have an Attitude adjustment. I have been to many places on this world, but nothing is more frightening than reservations between the hours of 2-5 in the AM by your self.

    • m99

Thanks for sharing Jonah. I believe it would be fair to say, we here all have a tremendous respect and awe for native american people. You’ve stated what Caucasian unbelievers need to hear.

  14. juan s

Great guest! You guys need to have him back to talk about the dogman and the type 3 dogman/bigfoot that wears the pelts. Khat hansen spoke about those on vics show, very nasty creatures. Sounds like more dogman than bigfoot since it hangs out with the k9 dogmen.

  15. Stephanie G

Per the first guest…it freaked me out. I lived in Agoura Hills near Chesbro Rd from 1987-1993. Did he mention what years he was there? Please tell me. Thanks, and I’m a BFC fan. Gonna get my Squatch t-shirt.

  16. scott o

As for the first guess speaking of Agoura Hills and the rocket testing area which is easily accessed from Santa Susanna Pass in Simi Valley. Wow I rolled through Mulholland Highway all the time but in the daytime. Would hate to think that things were running around so close to home. Often we get bear, mountain cats and deer that come down into the small township area of Malibu, coyotes are numerous and bother the residents dogs in the hills. Out past the 118 and Past Porter Ranch and Simi Valley areas its pretty desolate being so close to Los Angeles.

  17. Christine J S

Another wonderful show. Great job Wes; please bring Duke on often and Caveman it was so informative to hear from you. I’m so sorry to hear all the nasty sasq activities on the reservations…the gov’t is at it again! Giving hell to BTW and dumping BFs onto the reservations; totally outrageous and downright evil!

  18. Bryan P

Great show. I really enjoy Caveman and Duke. Is Duke that guy that used to be on the show all the time called Will? They sure sound like the same person to me. Great show, looking forward to all the cool Bigfoot shirts and hats u guys will have for us.

Great show!.. Once again. DUKE!… Good to hear from you again. I didn’t think you were unterrupting There’s a reason Wes brings you on …It’s fine! I’ve heard worse.
Caveman mentioned pissing a Bigfoot off with his booby traps… I listene to an interview on Nite Callers where a guest talked about a Bigfoot coming up on the porch that was like a carport and it had a ceiling fan running. Yeah.. You know where I’m going with this!.. Someone in the house heard him as he was coming up, he pumped his head on the roof edge because he was so tall. Then he hit the fan. Yeah shit hit the fan!… He got so pissed he threw all the iron patio furniture in the creek near by. The next day they went down to look and one chair had a huge boulder shuved in it and the patio set was just destroy. Everyone on the show was just cracking up with this story.
Thanks Wes. I’ve been straying a bit. Got a little catching up to do.

FANTASTIC SHOW!!!!!! Wes, please know hiow much I appreciate all your hard work. Caveman was incredible and so knowledgeable. In a few years I will be buying a decent size piece of property and building my dream house. In the event I wind up in a Sasquatch pronr area I now know what not to do so I don’t invite them to come live with us.

I live near Agoura Hills and grew up not too far. “It’s the wind,” (when there was no wind) and “that’s just the house settling,” were popular phrases my parents liked to use whenever we heard knocks and bangs on the walls and windows. They also said, “because I said so,” and “stop crying or I’ll give you a real reason to cry,” a lot. Parents in the 70’s and 80’s must’ve read the same parenting handbook… My parents told me I had an “overactive imagination” when I would tell them someone was outside or looking in my window. They were so confident of this that they never checked, yet the ONE time they did check, or rather I did, we caught a person in the yard looking into my window. This did not alter their opinion of me and they still never checked, and I was too scared to do it myself anymore, so I learned to ignore the noises and that feeling of being watched. We weren’t all that remote, but there were swaths of land with eucalyptus trees and orange and avocado groves that ran between everything and kind of connected like a network and branched out into the uninhabited areas around the cities. After putting things together, so many years later, I believe we had them in our area. I think I may have repressed a memory because growing up I had this powerful terror of Sasquatch, like pure terror, which I cannot explain otherwise. Never saw any scary movies, etc. I’ve since heard about other people in our area having encounters, like the one on here now.

There is a difference between knowledge and wisdom. Just like the difference between power and strength. Caveman has a wisdom that is admirable.
