SC EP:210 Encounter while investigating a property

It’s a double hitter this weekend! SC EP:211 is coming! I am in the process of uploading it to the site. Here is EP:210 with Dan Baker who describes an encounter while investigating a property.

Dan Baker will be my guest, and will be sharing with us his personal encounter. Dan writes “I was a 12 year old boy in 1967 when Roger Patterson and Bob Gimlin made the historic film of “Patty” in Bluff Creek California. I always sat with my mom and dad in the evenings to watch the news. One evening, I saw that epic film of a large, hairy creature walking away from the camera. That was the film that sparked a lifelong interest in bigfoot. Over the years, I watched as many films and documentaries as I could and read about as much. The Internet allowed me to further my research, in some areas but I needed to start getting into the field, which I did along with my wife, Sue.

On June, 6, 2013, I finally had a night time sighting through my night vision in Carroll County, Ohio. Soon after that, I began researching anthropology, paleoanthropology, and primatology in an effort to piece together possibilities of just what these creatures might be. Studying early hominids and great apes has given me a better understanding of bipedalism as well as an idea of how it works. I’m constantly exploring possibilities.”

    Good show Wes… but i’m on the animal end of this issue… Ya know if you believe in the Anunaki story,,, They probably used a hominid to splice with… So when we say ‘human’, maybe we should be saying ‘Hominid’,,,,,,,,,Ciao

    I want to thank you for being unbias on your show. I like the fact you present all sides to this topic. A lot of news outlets and shows claim to be unbieas but you are doing so.

    No matter what anyone believes we can all learn from one another.

    What kind of children’s book will appropriately inform children that they need to stay away from these ‘homonids’? If anything, someone needs to write a book about how responsible adults can specifically listen to their children for all kinds of dangerous situations, including Mr. Foot, and Mr. Mom’s New Boyfriend, and etc.
    Some kids don’t talk. A monster lived under my bed when I was a kid but I never said a word. Probably when we moved to town and away from farm life in the 5th grade was the first good night’s sleep I got in years.
    My sense of Mr. Baker is that he tends toward academia and may not empathetically identify with those who have been stricken with terror through experience. The homeowner mentioned in this episode was BEYOND BRAVE to accept the challenges of driving his guest.
    Children do need to be told to report times they feel afraid and times they feel like they are being watched, for example.
    I may be overthinking and overcautious here but I’m afraid to get excited about a book that tries to tell kids they have the skills to deal with this animal.

    Interesting. David P missing 411 says that every Native American he’s talked to insists these are another tribe of humans. Very adamant about that as well as DNA is consistent as human. Just a quick note to you all. Any thoughts?

      I TOTALLY AGREE ! But I Get my Information From the Good Book . I think these things have descended from Esau . I Catch Hell for my Theory bye Black Ministers who Think Esau is the White Race ? Because it says when He was Born ,” He Came Out Red , All Over. As If Covered bye an Hairy Garment ” As I Read it . It is talking about His Hair Color .
      Then everything After that is said Describing Esau – Can Also be Said of this Feral People of the Forest !

        I only Mention it – Because the Mother is Told “‘ 2 nations will be separated from your Womb 2 Manor of People will be Taken from your Bowels . One People will be the Stronger than the Other People ; The Elder will serve the Younger “‘
        To Me ? That says 2 People , 2 Nations of People . So It agrees with the Native American knowledge. As I think it is Speaking of the Same Thing.

    I continue to think that it is some kind of hand me down from Genesis 6, other explanations don’t make since to me. Even our guest on tonight’s show, bless his heart. he’s so sincere, but it just doesn’t work for me. I continues to say kill then and kill them all!!!!!!!!!!j.v.

    Great show Wes! I found the interview regarding the property investigation very interesting. Usually, the academia types put me to sleep. This guy was down to earth and had a lot of good information to offer.

    So dogmen witnesses have simply “misidentified” something else huh? How hypocritical Mr. Baker, maybe all you really saw was a “bear”…..and your wife saw two bears run across the road on two legs! I believe both cryptids are running around out there, and one should not be dismissed over the other. From all accounts the dogmen are terrifying, and traumatize the witness, no one likes being told they saw something other than what they know they really saw, especially from someone that wasn’t there at the time of the encounter.

    Relax Pete M, Wes asked Dan his opinion and he gave it. Not everyone feels the same about Dogman. I myself question an upright walking canine and there’s certainly less proof of them than compared to BF. I met Dan and his wife at a townhall one time, nice people. The group they are involved with is called “The Genoskwa Project.” They do most of their research about an hour or so from where I live. I was in contact with the other researcher that Dan works with and was trying to get him on the show. Anyway, apparently Dan stepped up to the plate. They lost permission to research at that farm after the land owner sold but I believe they have another area very close by. I think they said they had named that farm “Break Neck Mountain or Hill,” I can’t remember which one. It was ofcourse because of the animals they had found with broken necks.     Great interview! You are honing your skills! I liked listening to Dan he sounded honest, and gave his opinion.
    knowing some were not going to like it. Thats all that you can ask of a person right?

    After listening to this encounter, in my opinion I believe that whoever lived on the property before Dan had the creature in a habituated situation. From looking into the window and banging, to screams directly at the trailer tell me that it was frustrated that even though it had showed up like many times in the past, and even let it’s presence known, that whatever was previously done for, or given to it in the past wasn’t being provided. It knew someone was there, but why was it not providing when there was no fruit on the trees to eat?

    I believe the neighbor across the street had the correct idea when he cut down his trees. It forced them to seek elsewhere.

    Neanderthal was another form of Man . Their Skeletons had the SAME Bones OUR Skeletons do . Do You Know how they tell the Difference ? The Mental Formin . Which would be like the Dimple on My Chin ? Well that same Dimple is found on EVERY Neanderthal Skeleton , Located underneath the Right Eye Socket ; On the Lower Mandible.
    And THAT is the Distinction , of telling a Neanderthal Skeleton from a Human Skeleton. They do not Possess Bones that are NOT Included on Our Own Frame. And I would Assume the Same to be True for these Sasquatch. Maybe Thicker ? But still Human Bone Structure.

    Relic Hominid. The Native Americans say these things are ancient, been around longer than us. We just appeared very recently. Sasquatches are designed to live on this earth. We’re not. Sasquatches have evolved with the earth. We have not. I’m willing to bet that most you ppl think they’re suppressing this for the economy’s sake (lumber, hunting, fishing, etc.), but the truth of the matter, the thing that we’re going to have to come to terms with, is that WE are Genetically Modified Organisms. WE are the “abomination.” And THAT’S where the can of worms gets opened. How did THAT happen and WHY? Great Show.

    Sooooo……what happened to the tranquilized Sasquash. Nurse with tranquilizer? And the snow plow- what a moment. How was the leg/hip mended? Up close and personal but no account! Pulling out the needle is the beginning of the story but instead it ended right there. Why?
    No violent encounters! So why encourage killing one??????
    Promo encounter but did they take hair sample from tranquilized animal?
    All this no more logging is BS. Having them recognized would allow study- not just declaring them endangered. They may not be at all. It just means $$ will be allocated for study and research. I do believe the church would have the biggest block.
