SC EP:182: A Paramedic’s Encounter [Replay]

 

I am currently in the mountains checking out a new area. Woody and I tested out the new night vision equipment and it looks like it is going to work for us. I shot a quick video for you guys and gals. We are going to be out for a couple of days. Our plan is to go deep into the woods where there has been recent activity. I will see what we can find and hopefully return with something interesting for you.

Tonight is a replay of the paramedics encounter in Texas. I will return on Tuesday:
Bob Garrett returns and speaks with the witness and gives us his feedback. I was going to hold off on uploading this but decided to go ahead and upload it after the interview. I am working on the Albert Ostman encounter so look for that later in the week.

Tonight we speak to Joe who had an encounter in East Texas. He wrote to me a few weeks back and here is what he wrote: “Wes I’m a Paramedic on the coastal bend area in east tx and I discovered your show about 7 months ago when one of these things started vocalizing at us and throwing rocks and large limbs at our unit at about 345 am when our ambulance got a flat on a country road after transporting a patient to his residence way out in the country,my partner and other first responders have ran into these things in the past but I would always laugh it off until that night,Wes this thing came out of the woods and charged our ambulance.my partner accidentally switched on our siren and then we heard large foot falls then a huge rock hit the side of the unit followed by a large log it screamed at us after that we both got in the unit and sat for about 5 minutes I told my partner to shut everything off except the flood light when he did that he hit the code 3 lights because his hands wouldn’t stop shaking I then shut them off immediately when I turned to face the woods it was already standing about 30 ft away curly up its mouth at us me and my partner couldn’t move for about the first 5 seconds and then our first responders auto pilot must off kicked in,we started to lock the doors and advised central that to contact P.D. the thing must not off liked the fact we were moving around in there and that’s when he charged the unit the ambulance ended rocking almost to one side I don’t want people to think we’re crazy or lose my job but I’ve had nightmares ever since and I hate taking 911 calls in the country now or transfers.”

    This is one of the caries the encounters ever. I was just thinking about this episode today, wondering how these two paramedics were doing. Very traumatic to say the least, a life changing experience. Hope Joeis doing well.

    I cant even go into the woods anymore. and I have been a outdoors woman all my life. I hope these two young men especially the young 22yr. old paramedic get some help. ptsd for sure.

            You need to learn the definition of the word TROLL you’ll be amazed to find we are not actually trolls in asking what we paid for. If you paid $1000 dollars for a contract, would you just sit back and say nothing if you didn’t get what you signed up for? No you wouldn’t, then you complained and for your troubles you were called a troll. Bet you wouldn’t be very happy would you? Whether it be $7 or $1000 it doesn’t matter. We didn’t make the contract up that was Wes, and the simple fact of the matter is we are not getting what we paid for FACT! So in future learn definitions of words and don’t you dare ever call me a troll again. If you’re happy with re- runs and 2+ hours less per week than stated then thats your problem. We are not!!!

    I’m currently sitting on the couch Wes & I just got done listening to a show that was great to hear back then as it is to hear again. You & Dr. Bob are a great combination at hosting. Thanks from bringing Dr. Bob on!???????? I really feel for this EMT and all that he is and had gone through. It really gets me ???? under the collar about having gotten the week off by his boss who knew what was going on. His boss is a big as……. if you ask me. To the 3 of you, thanks for the great show!

    Really enjoyed this encounter, I was hoping Wes or Bob would have asked Joe if they were armed and if they thought of trying to shoot at them, also if they estimated how many BF were involved . As always love the show and look forward to more.

    wouldn’t expect a second of fuzzy footage, let alone a corpse, of even a bobcat, to come from this shenanigans… no chance a bigfoot. unless it’s suicidal?

    love the show, but the cause is best served behind a mike doing podcasts of peoples’ encounters.

    Sorry guys but Yacoult Mountain is becoming a bore, i paid to listen to peoples encounters. Not every broken branch is a sasquatch you know. No matter what film it is it’s never proof that sasquatch is real. Saschron is starting to loose it’s identity. No doubt as always you’ll come back with something to show us or listen, as you always do? Please get back to what the show is about peoples encounters. When i joined up i was promised 3 extra hours per week of shows, since I’ve been a member that has never happened once. Don’t anyone have a pop at me I’m stating the facts, if you don’t like it check it out for yourselves. So what exactly am i paying membership fees for? Sorry to sound like an arse hole but thats why i became a member

        You don’t even realise you’re actually trolling me now knock it off!!!!!!! Stop your sniping as I’m only stating facts or can you not get your head around it. If your happy with re-runs & 2 hours less per week in shows then thats your problem. Unfortunately I’m not & no doubt many more people on here feel the same way, but because of people like YOU!!! they are scared off. Sorry but im not, also if Wes was truthful he’d know doubt agree with me. I haven’t trolled Wes in anyway im just stating the terms of the contract it’s in Black & White

    Albert Ostman, anyone whose into bigfoot knows this story inside out whats the point in going over stuff thats been pounded to death. It’s just old hat stuff, if you can’t meet the contract that we paid up to (3 extra hours per week of shows) I’d rather you just say. Hope my views won’t get me banned, but I’m just stating the true facts of the contract you made. And people don’t start slagging me off with it’s only 7$ a month or cancel your membership if you’re not happy, you don’t need to tell me as I’m not thick. Oh and just one last thing, i am not a troll I’m most probably the furthest away a person can get to being a troll. If anyone has the slightest disagreement on this website I’ve noticed you’re classed as a troll, to those that think i am i suggest you google the term troll it’ll open your eyes….

    Are you trying to “push” them toward a target area if they hear you coming or merely draw them out to come to you – It seems as if they would generally try to evade oncoming persons. Just curious if you had some method to the exploration.

    Do you guys have a trail that you are monitoring with camera traps as well ? Any footage on those??

    Definitely. We love the guests but we want more. We want sasquatch research to move forward. Wes and Woody might not have a lot of experience in field research but it is a long term search, and also they can probably get some help from some experienced researchers like Bob Garrett. Keep up the good work guys!

    Wes, I hope you see this post. Please review your original footage. Start at about the 3:03 mark. At around 3:04 – 3:05 I hear a noise like a “gorilla bark” and then I see what looks to be eye-shine at about 3:06 in the top center (it is below the “quip” in “equipment” and about 1/5 of the height of the video down) . It flashes briefly and is gone by the 3:07 mark. I used the “pause/play” several times I can definitely see a pair of reflective sources when paused . Maybe an owl or raccoon? Maybe it is just sound/light anomalies but perhaps you’d have a better hearing/view of it with the original than I do on my computer.. This takes place about 30 seconds before the first “bad vibe” remark.

    Wes from watching the video it seems you guys would definitely benefit from a single point storm sling or another variation for your AR. With how these things can pop up and move that extra 2-3 seconds getting your rifles to the ready position might be all the difference.

    I see that that are some people here who feel that they are not getting their money’s worth: …….And They certainly have the right to say something about it.

    I personally don’t care for reruns either! …….But I am not inclined to “get up on my hind legs” just yet.

    …….I guess my patience stems from the fact that SC is basically a “One Man Show”, …and I can’t figure out how Wes has the time to even do what he is currently doing. It is clear to me that SC is a “work in progress”, and I am willing to give it some more time.

    I think it is inappropriate to bash those who feel that their expectations are not being met! …..And the use of the word “Troll” is inexcusable in this particular case! …..If people cannot make a negative comment without getting dumped on, then this is not the “safe” site that Wes envisioned!

    What do I lose if I don’t become a member?

    It might only be $7.00, but it’s a small luxury I’ve allowed myself in a very tight budget. Between the ugly arguing and the repeat shows so Wes and Woody can go gallivanting through the woods…yeah, no. I tune in for a new show, as promised, and instead am offered a repeat performance and a clip of the boys playing with toys.

    If I wanted to listen to a show I can just gobin the arxhives 24/7. Posting a repeat is just a way of posting something, a cop out.

    Great show Wes! I agree 100% with Joe in that these things should be exterminated to eliminate the threat to humans. But that would mean the government would have to come clean & that ain’t going to happen anytime soon. So hard for me to wrap my head around the government conspiracy and knowingly endangering the public.
    I pay no attention to the whining background noise about the show content because I’m totally emersed on the subject; just wish folks were mature enough to keep their dis respective thoughts to themselves. It’s irratating to see their comments in the blog. Keep up the great work Wes, you got my support brother!

    I had never heard the show & thoroughly enjoyed it, & hey, whose perfect anyway??. It’s good that Stan n others can piss n moan about repeat content, etc., but on a more personal level it seems some people feel an entitlement to criticize everything instead of learning that not everything is centered around our individual needs, wants or desires. We have to let some things go and enjoy all that is good. It’s a maturity issue really. Wes n his brother seem to me like fine people trying to create an interesting venue, n make a living. $7 is a drop in the bucket for such interesting entertainment.

    Regarding the Bigfoot behavior behind attacking the ambulance and trying to get them to leave it, I have a slightly different take on it. The guest also alluded to it because he felt that the Bigfoot were egging each other on and celebrating their stopping the ambulance and scaring those inside it. He said that at the beginning, after they ran up and body-checked the vehicle after the paramedics ran back inside for cover, the Bigfoot made sounds like they were congratulating their daring, masculine behavior – kind of like when people congratulate a fellow hunter’s kill or egg on a friend to try to get them to start a fight – that is what it appeared the Bigfoot were doing. This appears to be a common behvior, and it may be common to young male Bigfoot who go out in gangs to harass humans and terrorize them – it is a show of their bravery – the Native Americans call it Counting Coup. This could account for a lot of the violent or aggressive Bigfoot behavior – not just hunger because there are probably a lot easier prey to run down – humans carry weapons, deer don’t. Hopefully, one day books or articles will be written by PhD carrying anthropologists, sociologists, biologists and other behaviorial scientists in serious, respected journals about the influence of testosterone on young male Bigfoot, which will include descriptions of episodic Counting Coup among the various Bigfoot tribes..

    He’s right. These things should not be protected. They should be eradicated. When someone “prooves” the existance of these things, the main focus should be to show people how dangerous they are and what a threat to humanity they are. We don’t need these things around. I think the gov keeps them a secret partly because they plan to use them against us. It’s in the bible, there are numerous prophesies of this. I’m with Joe. We should start ridding ourselves of these things. Forget trying to proove they exist, unless it is to show people we shouldn’t keep them around. Especially the East Texas ones.

    I’m sorry throughout the years from what I’ve learned I’ve learned including my citing in East Texas, They could have killed off 4 of us the night we were in the woods making all kinds of strange noises just to get their attention instead they made funny noises back and just and decided to let there glowing red eyes be seen multiple sets above it’s about 50′ in front of us. We all had we all had good intent going out there and I’m a firm believer on Then being able to sense energy. Ever since I started researching in this fashion fashion trying this approach I’ve gotten more results and now 2 sightings. I also believe there are bad ones, just like there are many bad humans.This one could have just been angry. I do not believe that they should all be shot because We Are JUST AS BAD.. The true MONSTERS are The Ones That Walk Right Beside us.. (Thats Humans) I do feel for this guys situation. But you cant blame the Sasquatch. WE Should Be blaming The SCHOOL SYSTEM for Not teaching Us this Shit From Childhood. If We Were better Prepared We Could Handle These Situations better. Whoever decided to keep this from public knowledge should be shot.
