SC EP:1222 The Fort Lewis Training Incident

We will be speaking to Adam. Adam had two encounters in WA state, one when he was with his father and many years later while he was stationed on Fort Lewis. Adam describes being on Fort Lewis and during a training exercise catching glimpses of two creatures.

Prior to seeing them they were screamed at from two different directions. Adam said everyone climbed into their Stryker (Eight-wheeled armored fighting vehicles).

Something came up to the vehicle.

sorry but the audio clips are dogs, all day long. sound exactly like some of the hound dogs in my neighborhood. identical. I wouldn’t even notice that if I heard it. I’m so used to hearing it. those are dogs

Have not heard that recently but that’s how the non dog sounded that I heard from our house next to a bunch of woods and water. Living in a rural part of central Va. heard the loud owls talking across the backyard one night. It scared me, I hooted back but got a really creepy feeling and went inside the house happy to get indoors. I had not associated any of that with Sasquatch until listening to other people’s experiences then lots of different experiences made sense in that context. I began remember…

I taught near Fort Lewis in Washington State years ago… I’ve heard about sightings on base. I know that the army manual for the base mentions Bigfoot as one of the mammals on the base.

Glad you asked Adam why the soldiers did not get out of the Stryker, when scratching and pushing. No ammo, very good reason plus dark I would assume, and who and the heck would come up to such a vehicle at night, knowing there is a crew in there and start running hand and nails down it? I believe we know the answer. I see no eveidence they are on the verge of extinction. The number of sightings one can find on the internet or written is exploding and have for quite a while. I do think if they are only flesh and blood, then their could have been a large die off in the later 1700s and the 1800s, while small pox followed the westward human movement. And thus the lack of much knowledge and stories back then, except what the native nations kept to themselves. Really appreciate ‘Adam another great story from FT. Lewis. I do not remember that episode Wes. Anyone here that can locate the episode number.

As to the recording phones are very poor at recording distances. Maybe the sound like a hound dog they stated was not a dog, was insanely loud compared to the recording. It certainly got another dog much closer to them all stirred up.
