Very interesting…lots of plausible explanations. Thanks Matt! Makes me wonder what a Sasquatch funeral is like. And seriously, graveyards would be a great place to collect colorful decorations to liven up a dreary cave or dugout. And if they keep finding little trinkets they like, it would keep them coming back – kind of like a regular treasure hunt.

My family cemetery is in a heavily wooded area and is in an area with some local sightings. Last spring I stumbled across what I believe to be tree structures. Once I was got back to the graveyard, a crow just started going nuts then a few minutes later I started hearing snaps (twig breaks). After the third snap in a matter of minutes, I felt like I was being given a message and I got out of there.

Couple of thoughts I have on graveyards is that they are usually kept mowed or are in an open area. This provides a good people watching vantage point. I also notice quite a bit of game trails around some of these cemeteries, maybe it’s food related.

Anyway, graveyards are creepy enough as they are, why do we have to have SQ and Dogmen hanging there too. Crickey!
