This is awesome! I grew up in Danville in the 70’s, which sits on the west side of Mount Diablo. We never heard any stories of Sasquatch or Hairy Men. But there were some cool caves, theres “rock city”, and my friend was chased up a tree by a boar haha! If you’re ever in the East Bay and want something to do, take a drive to the top. It has the oldest still working WW2 beacon which they run once a year on Dec 7th. Amazing views in all directions, from SF to Yosemite.

Yes this article is featured in the book “ON THE TRACK OF THE SASQUATCH, ENCOUNTERS WITH BIGFOOT FROM CALIFORNIA TO CANADA” softcover by: JOHN GREEN ,and is what first got me on the map questing for place names reguarding DIABLO’S ,DEVILS ,SPIRIT,SKOOKUM ,WENDIGO,etc.etc This story happened to be on the east side of the DIABLO RANGE I thoght that was cool because I live in the silicon valley which sits between the west side of the Diablo Range and the Santa Cruz mtns. I have been researching old Newspaper Articles and I have a load of stuff to share with you guys thatf will blow your mind!
