A listener writes “I am a new listener and have been going through some of your episodes (as I have been traveling a lot lately) and one in particular really struck a chord with me.
Episode 941 – the incident that happened in Youngstown Ohio in 1989. I am from Ohio, back in 1988 or 1989 I saw something that scared the bejesus out of me. I was in Canton Ohio…downtown Canton, and there used to be an auto parts store down there. I cannot remember exactly where, but it was in a pretty shady part of town. My boyfriend at the time and I had gone down there for something at night and I had waited in the car for him. The side street next to the auto parts store was a dead-end and I cannot remember what was back there, but as I was waiting in the car, I looked down the street and saw something I cannot even make sense of.
It looked like a werewolf. It was standing next to a tall tree stump and appeared to be beckoning to me (that part I am not so sure of), but it scared me so bad it went through my entire body. Matt’s description of what he thought his encounter resembled (Hugh Jackman in Van Helsing) made me google it and it sent shivers down my spine. That is what I would say my encounter resembled as well.
All I can say is that I had this very bizarre experience that I have always chalked up to an overactive imagination. After hearing this episode, now I wonder. I remember going back there during the day and wanting to see if there was anything that would have resembled something like that.”

I remember Ep 941 and since have heard of a couple other sightings of a werewolf like creature in this area of Ohio, so you never know.
