Wow! Thanks grassman58! How cool to have your dad recount his experience. If I mention Bigfoot to my dad he says he doesn’t want to hear about it. Shuts me right down. Makes me wonder?

Shelly – My grandfather had a close up encounter with a Sasquatch when he was just 11 years old in Eastern WA. He never really talked about it until he was in his seventies because people in this region apparently were especially judgemental about such things. So my grandfather for all those years (besides telling my grandmother) kept it to himself. My mother (his daughter) had never heard anything about it until he told me when I was a high school senior. In this neck of the woods it was just better to be quiet than to be called crazy.

My store manager asked me today how the IBC was. Then she told me that her grandpa told a story to them 4 years ago (he’s passed now) about seeing a bigfoot cross the road in Chewelah when he was a teenager. The BF had a calf under his arm. She said the family di dnt know what to make of it as he was a quiet man and had never told that story before.
