Thanks for posting the thread Ben H. It’s hard to tell if it’s cgi or not. But I did see that link someone posted of the video creator coming forward. After my initial post I sent the video to a close cousin who has been in power line work (lineman) for 25 years or so. He said that he has heard many stories about people seeing them, usually forming by power lines and especially when AC current is involved. He had one co-worker tell him he saw one dodging trees due to the static electricity.

I personally like Dobson. His eye shine video got me interested. This video is very good…it’s a face for sure! I don’t see anything to support this being pareidolia. However, at one point when he panned back to the right after the clearest frames of the subject, that spot almost looks like a mirror. After reviewing it again, it looks like spider webs directly in front of the face play tricks with the depth perception although it only lasts a few frames.
Steven is right about having it scanned. I personally haven’t had to do that very often but you never can be too safe. you can go to whatever extent you want to really. I hope everything goes well for you.
I think the key is to unplug your drive after you drag files to it. But that wouldnt guarantee anything. The virus could copy itself to your system directory and copy again to any recognized drive.
I am in the I.T. Field and deal with this daily. In most cases we just reformat infected computers. That’s the only sure fire way to know you removed it.
Viruses can definitely infect external hard drives. A virus can do many things obviously like delete files, replicate and duplicate itself and other files. There are even viruses that can overclock your drive into burning up! Unfortunately, a drive being external does not make it exempt.
The good news is you don’t need to trash it. Just move your good files to another drive then format the existing. If you don’t know how it’s pretty simple: right click on the drive from My Computer then choose format. Follow the steps then your done! It will wipe everything.

Wow thanks for the share Tim! It took me all of two seconds to know what I was looking at! Those eyes (or eye) is creepy! The eye kind of reminds me of the recent video of the creature peeking in someone’s window. I don’t know if that was legit though.

All of this is great information. Thank you all. I still scratch my head with this one. I would like to go out with Nathan to his spot and see if they are there at this time of year. I have an idea of the where it is simply because of the elevation.
It would make sense that these things have many physiological adaptations for winter. Some that go far beyond a little extra hair. My Rottweiler grows a thick under coat for winter. The shedding isn’t fun! On the other hand my English Bulldog does not.
I believe it’s plausible that some migrate to warmer areas. However, I also believe some do not. Some of the most prevalent reports here in Utah are in the middle of winter. The most intriguing part is they have been at high elevation.
I’ve seen many reports describing a “Maciated” appearance during cold months. Referring back to my first post, these things would have to take in a tremendous amount of calories. Especially during the cold! Where do the calories come from?Humans have a layer of fat to help insulate our bodies. Only a few mammals have this as far as I know. It’s been said that sasquatch don’t have this layer. That could explain the “Ripped” appearance. So that just produces another question obviously.
IF they are human I imagine this scenario: make me strip naked, put some hair on me but also remove my fat…uh oh! I’m a dead man in the cold! LOL
Thanks to both of you. Great insight. A while back I posted a video from where I’m from in Utah. It was posted by some hunters in the winter following huge snow tracks up a mountain. They followed these tracks for a few days and posted a 3 part video. I couldn’t understand why this thing was trekking deeper into the mountains in the middle of winter. It was going East toward Colorado so his life was about to be much harder.
Personally, I was hesitant to tell my story because I’m not one who takes kindly to being called a liar. Wes talked me into it (episode 149) and I was pleased with the reception my story received. I realize this could be because my story didn’t involve the thing jumping out and yelling BOO!
But the fact is, some people have had these crazy and incredible encounters and who am I to say who’s telling the truth. If someone can tell a fantastic lie for an hour on SC without remorse the god help them. I would rather not debate the BS factor over certain guests. It’s nerve racking telling your story on the show. Especially at first! I can hear it in my own voice so I don’t hold that against anyone. I respect everyone’s opinion and that’s just mine.
