Medical Lake Prints

KHQ Local News reports “Could it be Bigfoot? Viewer Steve Meacham shared these pictures he took just outside of Medical Lake of these “Bigfoot prints” in the snow. He says the prints have a 36 inch stride and 24 inch foot length and they disappear in the woods.”

My name is Wyman Smith,…I am not this Wyman S.
I can not agree with the walking stick theory because it is not beside every print.

Stride is not measured from print to print, but rather heal to heal or toes to toes, so the stride is most likely 5 feet long.

I have seen many prints with the Toes not being perfect, but more spread, like these are, so my vote is they look real, in my opinion.

I have also seen pictures of other track lines, that are not perfectly straight either.

This is a great find in my opinion.

Maybe we should have a more positive out once in a while.?.? …. snow shoes,… come on, LOL

Snow shoes? It does appear there is an impression of what could be a walking stick at the right heel only of the tracks. and those toes are really messed up if thats what they are.

I think it’s incredible how these creatures are built for the elements. We as humans couldn’t possibly spend more than one night naked, in a forest, in freezing temperatures, let alone walking in the snow. I really don’t think people realize just how well adapted these creatures are to the wilderness and to think that we can get a jump on them is ridiculous.

They leave a much more inline track line. Not the human gate shown here. But it could be. Shrugs. I thank him for coming forth with them though. Tip of the hat.

I am seeing same as you Sunny N. I have found a line in deep snow in 2011, Iosco County, Michigan. in the Huron national forest. They were at most a few hours old. There was no straddle in the ones I found. I am pretty sure mine were legit as it stepped over a 4.5 to 5 foot fence for a few steps and crossed back over the the fence and back to the road that had been plowed. My two golden retrievers would not follow me while I examined the trackway for about 10 minutes, they just went crazy barking. I wish I had a cell phone with a camera back then, but I did not. I can only conclude a maybe on this.

Tracks have the look of a large quadruped due to the noticeable rear leg clipping the back of the track already made by forward legs, and as others said, the left to right pattern is also a tell tale sign. Thanks and it’s good to learn about all kinds of tracks in different conditions.
