I know that area like the back of my hand. The buggers there are especially violent. I would never go in those woods at night unarmed.

Oh my goodness. Yes, now I’d never go into the woods alone at any time, but when I was a kid in SETX I did it as often as I could sneak off to go. I loved the hush of the forest. I liked walking among the pines and quietly stepping as I went on the pine needles floor. I’d sit down and listen to the wind in the top of the trees. I loved it and didn’t understand the danger at all. Thanks goodness for the angels.
