Interesting Audio Captured

The YouTuber writes “You’ll need headphones for this audio. These whoops, and possible bigfoot language (or samurai chatter), where recorded on Nov. 30th 2013, as I sat alone in my vehicle, in my primary research area I call “The Bog”. I hope you will enjoy.”

Very interesting stuff, some of it very familiar-sounding to me. I’m a bit bothered that he assigned sex/age to the subjects, but this does sound pretty legit. And if it is, what he thinks is a human man yelling really might not be.

I like the audio evidence. It can be more conclusive then track evidence. I would suggest that when recording audio to use two recording devices set apart from each other. I have heard audio experts talk about using two separate recording devices and if you measure the distance beaten the devices that capture the same audio you can figure out how far from the devices the source of the audio is. Then a,search of that area can be done to look for coraborating evidence. If you come up with a good method for doing this you could have repeatability in gathering evidence. I don’t recall where I heard or read this but I am sure a quick search and you can find out how to beat do this. Looking at a spectrograph of the audio can help to identify what is making the sounds or at least eliminate certain sources like humans.
