I Saw It This Time

I grew up on a 90 acre farm in a old logging town called Shelton, Washington. My first encounter was when I was probably about 7-8 years old. My mom and step dad went out for the night and they had asked my brother to come watch me and my 13 year old cousin who was living with us at the time.

My brother and I are 15 years apart and he came over with 2 of his friends Wes and Derick. I know them very well from growing up as my brother had to drop out of school to take care of me so my mom could go to work and I have always hung out with them playing video games and such. Anyways my parents left at about 6-7 PM and this is towards the end of December so it does get very dark very quick. They had left and we were all playing board games up stairs and listening to music. We played monopoly for about 1-2 hours and then it was my bed time. I was crawling into bed and just when I was about to fall asleep I heard something hit the window. Now this was not a big boom and this is a 2 story house and I was on the top story.

I didnt really think anything of it as many time a small bird would fly into the windows. I layed in bed for another 2-3 min and then it happened again. It sounded like it was a small pebble hitting the window. Like I said this was nothing big as no damage to the window happened. This went on for about 15-20 Min and every 2 min something would hit the window. At this time I really didnt know what bigfoot was but I was concerned. I went and got my cousin and had her come listen. The way i described it to my brother and cousin and his friends was it sounds like a small bead ( from like a friendship bracelet ) was hitting the window. My cousin came and listened and sure enough 4-6 times more something was hitting the window and it was small enough that we could not see it coming. Keep in mind it is pitch black outside and the only light that would be shining out the window would be from my room up stairs. My brother thought I was lying and he eventually came to listen and sure enough it happened another 4-5 times. My brother is very big guy. Not tall but wide and strong. He is like a small gorilla as I put it. Not a lot of things scare him. My brother told us to get into the bathroom and lock it. I remember going to the bathroom as he walked to the front of the house and onto the front deck. I could hear him screaming ” who ever the fuck is out here, I will fuck you up” He said he could hear something on the side of the hill as the 90 acres are in a valley and the main road was up above us which across the road lead to more woods and logging acres for the company green diamond.

I remember leaving the bath room and seeing my brother with the front door open shooting off his C02 powered hand gun. Nothing that could take down a bigfoot or come close. My brother at this point was nervous and scared and his friends were to. My brother tried to put our dog out whos name was Hunter. Hunter was a black lab and was not scared of anything. He would chase around cows and horses and such. AS my brother was trying to put him outside Hunter would not go. My brother was grabbing hunter by the back of his neck and trying to get him outside and he would not go. He was yelping and screaming and he actaully started peeing himself all over the floor and my brother. Not a good sign. We decided to go back upstairs and turn off all the lights and the pebbles hitting the window stopped. As soon as we turned on the lights again it started happening again another 4-6 times this time with larger rocks. I think that what ever it was when it could see us through the window with the lights on was trying to get our attention. My brother was so scared by this point, he tried calling my mom and step dad multiple times but they were not answering. He finally said we have to get out of here and we all ran to his car and left for olympia where my grandma lived. As we were leaving I could barely see all the cows in the field but they were all huddled together with and I could see our Bull walking around the herd protecting them. As we left I did not see anything as my brother as we got around the pond punched it and we got out of there. My mom came home to find us all gone. She was worried and got in touch with my grandma who told her the story we told her. I can tell more of the story and send photos if you would like. They did call the game warden who said he did find tracks and called them large bear tracks but said he had not seen tracks like that before. He said the tracks were close to a bear but the soil what ever walked up it were big and caved in looking an had large toes. Kind of like what ever was walking up it was putting it toes down first and arching it foot.

That was the last time I had anything thrown at my window.

My 2nd encounter:( I saw it this time.)

I was probably around 14-15 years old and like I said before our property was basically off a cliff in a valley. I had to walk up our drive way which is around 50-60 yards up to the road where I would wait for the bus. My mom was always on the porch smoking a cig and would make sure I would get on the bus okay. I was waiting on the top of the hill one morning and from the top you could see some of the property but trees and bushes would cover a big portion of it up. I was standing on top and I heard a lot of commotion and things coming from the field down below. I was looking and I could see something Big and Black standing up straight and flinging its arms side to side. Now this has to be about 150-200 yards away. I could make it out but not any definition of it. Like facial features and such. Anyways this thing was whipping its arms back and forth and my mom was like what is that as she yelled to me.

I said something big and black is in the field. She said to stay where I was and not to move. The way the house sits is the porch faces on side of the hill. To look out to the field you either have to go to the left of the porch and jump on the roof or to go into the living room to look out the side window.I was watching this big black thing what looks like tearing at it skin and it was pissed off. It let off a couple loud yells/yips and I was just so scared, frozen in place staring at this happen. I really didnt know what to think of it. This thing was stumbling left to right but it was not off balance like a bear would be if it was on 2 legs. If you have ever seen those things athletes train with, they are large elastic bands that go arouond your waste and some one holds it you run as hard as you can. It called resisting runnning. This thing obviously walked and ran on 2 legs as it was trying to get away. Now on our farm we herd our cattle with electric fence into sections so they dont eat to much. We have electric fence that is stationary with pretty thick metal wires and fencing that is removable which is small wire on a spool. This thing ripped out 300-400 yards of stationary fencing which was thick wire and had posts connected to it dug 5 feet down and stapled into the fence post. Now this electric fence runs 24/7 and some how this thing was crossing i guess and tried to go under neath the wire and got shocked and Im sure scared by this. It finally got free while getting zapped and I had never seen something move as quick as it did. It was like 8 long running strides and it was gone into the trees where I could no longer see it. It covered maybe 30 yards in 6-8 steps. My mom the whole during this yelling, what do you see what do you see. I yelled to her after it left and about 5 min later the bus came and I went to school. I thought about this thing all day. Well that day I ended getting in trouble at school and the teacher called my step dad. So i stopped thinking about it and was wondering what punishment I would receive when I got home.

I got home and my step dad was waiting and said he got a call from the teacher and said I was grounded until the fence in the field was fixed… Then it hit me. Oh shit, I have to fix the fence that this big black thing got stuck in. The damage was unreal and I pleaded to my step dad not to make me go out there and told him the story. He wasnt having it made me fix it. I got in trouble on a friday and it was now the weekend. I just kept thinking to myself i have to go out where this thing was. Where this thing was actually at. I basically just sucked it up and walked out into the field and started working on this fence, digging out the old broken post and putting in the new ones and running new wire as the old wire all bent up. The whole time I was scared, I knew i wasnt going to finish the work in one day. And all I could think about was this big black thing that looked huge from far away, the last thing I wanted to do was see it up close. It had to be at least 7-8 feet tall and like its width and mass was insane. We have black bears here but they are no where near the size I saw. It started to get dark and there was no way I was staying out there and I headed inside. My mom and I started talking and she said I had nothing to worry about and it was just a bear. A bear doesnt move like that I told her and have long arms that bend like that looked to be rotating around the shoulder area just like a humans and trying to get this electric wire off of it. I woke up early saturday morning and I ate breakfast and headed out. Now the day before I had maybe 2 hours work done on this project and even though I was scared, I didnt feel like something was watching me. We as humans have instinct as well and you know when you have eyes on you or a long period of time. I started working around 9 o clock and had about 4-5 more hours of straight work to do. About 1 hour into work, things got extremely quiet. No birds, no cows mooing, no nothing. I stopped and looked around at the trees around me and I could just feel something was there. Now I did not see it again, but this thing what ever it is, was watching what I was doing. I had a large machete with and a .22 caliber rifle as well. When I started to feel less and less comfortable I get very defensive when I get to this state. I have ever since I was young. I felt like I had to let this thing know that if it was going to try to take me down or hurt me, that I wasnt going down easy. Kind of like when people try to do this to a bear. I grabbed my machete and and gun at the same time and just started screaming and yelling as loud as I could, Yelling i will fuck you up, that I am at the top of the food chain and I will leave victorious beating my chest and showing this thing I was not scared, ( when really I was terrified ) but if im going down, im going down swinging. After about 2-3 min of me doing and out of breath, I felt that what ever was watching me just stopped and left. I finished my work and that was my last encounter.”

You did what you had to do with little to no knowledge of what you were dealing with. Good on you. Lately I have noticed, people that get boisterous with the Sasquatch can keep them at bay
