A listener writes “Hey Wes my names Matt and vie been a huge fan of the show for the month or two Ive been listening (still getting caught up) and Ive been debating emailing you for a while because my encounter is no where near as close or certain as most of the people you talk to but I thought that ot might help with anybody that might be putting a migration and habitation map.
So few years ago around 2007 08 09 me and a few friends were driving around in south ks by the Oklahoma border right around south haven and we or at least. I saw a huge hairy man thing walk into the treeline. Now I’m no wilderness expert but im from Montana and Wyoming area so i know bears and this wasn’t a bear. Well maybe a week or two later driving by (we took that back road a lot) and there was definite eye shine about 7 foot give or take from ground and strange movement. We didnt try to track either occasion and just wrote it off as weird shot that happens down there since it was almost every night strange things (not necessarily bigfoot related) happened.
Like I said not anything super close or anything but I think that they use the tree lines down that way to navigate from Missouri to Oklahoma. I’m trying to make contacts down here to try to figure out when they migrate through here or if they have any sort of semi permanent residence. But thats my short encounter I love the show and I cant wait to listen to the 200 more shows I have to catch up on lol. Have a good one.”

I grew up in the Missouri/Kansas area and had a couple of sightings as well as a lot of vocalizing. I firmly believe they routinely move through the ozarks into Arkansas and Oklahoma in the fall/winter months.
