I have no clue what it was but it was strange

This was an encounter sent to me by a listener.

“Wes I really enjoy the show and listen all of the time. I really like how you allow people to tell their encounters without interrupting them or making the show about you. I am writing to you because in 1989 my brother and I were hunting on the Oklahoma, Texas border when we saw the largest wolf we have ever seen. I figured it was some sort of hybrid because this thing was HUGE! It was about 150-200 yards out, coming our direction.

The “wolf” stopped and stood up like a man.It appeared to walk cautiously…kind of in a circle sniffing the air. It was the strangest thing I have ever seen. I cannot give you a lot of details of the face because of the distance we were at. It had a long snout, a head like a german sherpard and it appeared to have fingers and claws. It ran off on two legs just like a person would but it was fast I MEAN REALLY FAST! The legs were odd, I do not even know how to explain it. The legs were bent and skinny. The whole encounter probably lasted a minute maybe a minute in a half…….it felt like forever.

Needless to say we left. My brother passed away in a car accident 10 years later but while he was alive he refused to talk about it. I have struggled with this my whole life. I have hesitated in writing you because I do not think it was a bigfoot. I have no clue what it was but it was strange. It really helps hearing other people tell their encounters, it is like therapy.

Thanks for taking the time to read my encounter and all you do,

Robert”

Kinda makes you wonder if we’ve got some covered up genetic testing going on or if these things always existed and we’re just so conditioned to believe in everything we’re taught by our parents from their parents and so on. Like a false sense of security. How many times have you heard don’t worry, God will take care of this , or God has a plan. There’s no monsters under your bed, there’s nothing that’s out in the dark of night that isn’t there in the day time. On and on contributing to the false sense of security. For the longest time I can recall thinking the real monsters are man (or woman, as the case may be) they blame it on demons or evil but really it’s just disturbed people with some kind of mental genetic eff up. After listening to David Paulides….I’m not so sure. I’m not saying there aren’t seriously effed up people running around, but there is such an ignored and denied under current to life, it’s almost scary. Alot of hypocrisy to every rule ever written by man. What’s it all about? I got no idea. In fact, the older I get, the less I know. No matter how intense my thirst for knowledge , I just get thirstier. It’s crazy. Like chasing my tail. I don’t know why the government doesn’t just lay it on the line. Here it is. It takes so much more effort to lie, deceive and cover up and once you’re truly found out you’ve lost so much credibility. Just doesn’t make sense.

I too feel the older I get, the less I know. The Internet has been a real eye-opener. There is a lot of disinformation on the web, but there is also vast amounts of credible information . There certainly seems to be many contradictions to the things I was taught. I doubt if most of our government knows much about the realities of the world around us, but there may very well be a small group of true puppet masters who are aware and who keep the information from the masses.

Joyce and Jan I agree. It is such a false sense of security. It had to be done on purpose because our ancestors knew about them. When and how did we lose the truth and start living in our fake la-la lands? I remember as a child learning of the myths that generations of old believed in. I felt so enlightened not to be under all that crap. Now….. I realize it is today’s man has had the wool pulled over his eyes.

You know, we fill our days with work, housekeeping, shopping, paying bills , etc. Conditioned to stay on task, that it’s almost like we’re programmed worker bees just focusing on our hive, constantly, diligently..And then one of us looks up, sees the craziest of things, nudges the next one and says, ” Did you see that?” Then another one sees it. Then another. And suddenly we’re all looking up. We live in distractions. What’s sad is. That so many of us turn on those that try to alert us. They risk everything to do this. They risk credibility , they risk their safety. Look at poor Bob from east Texas coming across a violent camping attack and our ahole government bullies him, threatens him, screws with his family. What kind of world is this really? What kind of jerks do we have running this place? This is some serious bull crap. If you were in school and you witnessed bullies doing this, you grab 2 or 3 of your friends and put that bully in his place. You know high school really did prepare us for life. It never changes. The popularity contests (Kardashian) the stupidity (honey boo boo) and the shallowness ( Jersey shore) and yet somehow we’ve self proclaimed to be the most intelligent species on earth. Go figure.

I agree with you Joyce. The world doesn’t make sense the way it works. There is an under current of evil that seems to govern our lives. Distractingu us from knowing our true potential, burdening us down with so much negativity. There are all kinds of conspiracy theories as to who and/or what is doing the controlling making it hard to sift through all of the minutia to find the truth. In all of my searching over the years I have continually found the same thread which points to a group of people who want to control the rest of us. The control always focuses us on never being positive only negative, for us never to come together and be like minded in our purpose to stay ineffectual individuals, to always be in fear of something never to feel safe, to cut down instead of build up, etc, etc, etc. How do we overcome all of this? Well it is quite simple, do the opposite of what they want? Stay positive in your mind and body and towards life. Do not focus on negativity, avoid the things that are negative on tv, the internet, in books and magazines. Never attack others or cut them down focus on the positives of a person not what bothers you. Try to come from a loving attitude even towards the ones that you perceive as your attackers, love them any way no matter how they act. I like to do things different then what people expect to see what happens and every time I take this path the results always amaze me. When someone is attacking me, instead of attacking back or defending myself I try to find out what is troubling them. Ask them if they are ok? Do they need any help? You will find that the attacking will immediately stop, and the attacker will at the least leave you alone, but a lot of the time you find out that the person is just hurting inside and just needed someone to care about them for a moment. You can really change the world by just changing your attitude. Oh and by the way Dogman is a construct of evil meant to scare us, to keep us frightened. Each of us has the power of creation within us, if we all focus on the same thing it becomes real, so stay focused on positive things try to give small attention to the negatives like dogman. Don’t make them more real in your life then what they are? If you see them tell your story but don’t go looking for them. If you listen to the story enjoy the story for what it is but don’t hold on to the fear of the story, let it go once the story is over. For those that have had a terrifying encounter, tell your story get it out of you and let go of the fear, if you keep telling the story and the fear keeps coming back you may need help to work through the fear, to truly let it go.

I forgot to mention, Robert, as strange and horrifying as the creature you saw is, I wanted to say, if it is any comfort, that you aren’t crazy and you aren’t the only person to have encountered one. I haven’t – but others have – so you aren’t totally alone in this. Please take care.

Its most likely perameters set up in the software for this site, for the prevention of spammers ond unwanted ad’s posted by hackers. I’m sure it could easily be adjusted to accommodate multiple links if you were to ask Wes to have his IT guys make that adjustment.

    Steve,
Our pal, “dirty gary” has to make sure, trouble maker that you are, that you’re not trying to convince some poor innocent, that it wasn’t a bear that tried to twist their head off.

    • Steven B

Dang – you and Patrick sure got my number here. Gotta save me from myself, huh? 😉

Someone mentioned to me that they had heard that “Dirty Gary” has gone to the Great Beyond. I feel for whatever family he had, if this be the case, but still feel it was/is reprehensible how he dealt with people. Maybe the Good Lord is re-educating him on what a bear looks like…

One Lucky Guy to see DogMan, I believe one other guest was in the same area and saw the same creature, but he had a scope on his gun and saw more details….Good Job, Robert….

I’m not sure if it would be very lucky to see this werewolf or dogma type beast. Well to say if you weren’t lookin for one. Being A hunter and part time woods enthusiasts I would have been totally melted down by a Wolfman encounter. .. I just learned of these things 3 yrs ago. I have known about BF for 30 yrs and its taken alot of adjusting to get a grasp on them. But to see a 8 ft wolf that ways 3 or 4 hundred pounds. On 2 legs. Don’t anybody say they wouldn’t be half freakedout. I’m now sure that these things make there homes any ware they want just like BF. SO TO THAT I SAY. NOTHING LESS THEN 12 GA. BUCK AND SLUG. = 308 OR LARGER RIFLE. SEMI AUTO. AND 44 MAG OR LARGER PISTOL. just hope it don’t come down to needing the pistol. You mite hope it’s made of chocolate. … REALLY.

    • Steven B

Guys that have actually shot and hit these things seem to observe that they tend to absorb body shots rather well – my personal opinion, which may well be worthless, is large helpings of heavy, high velocity metal to the brain-box may well be the only option for ruining their day – however – if there are other options available – like getting the heck out of Dodge – I would take it.

I don’t know about Dogman per se, but I know there are plenty of reports suggesting people are seeing something. A look-see behind the Great Oz’s curtain says there is something to the Dogman and Bigfoot issue in spite of what skeptics and deniers would like us to believe. For those who would rather you believe there is nothing unless it rings their door bell or stops by for coffee, these encounters continue to pile up gradually descending they say into unwarranted generalizations, wild speculations, unrestrained alarmism. Easy for those individuals to say but try telling that to thousands who have been frightened or traumatized in some form or fashion by their very experiences.

That was an excellent encounter. Very strange, and must’ve shaken them to the core!

SasChron, and the members that contribute to it have certainly opened my eyes to the real possibility that we are all certainly kept in the dark about many things to control and stop us asking too many questions en-masse. This would terrify any government!

Maybe as the Internet grows and more truthful information is leaked (even if a lot of it is deliberate misinformation), more and more decent people will sift through it and join the ranks of the growing number of people like us, that want to question what is real and what is false in this world, to force them into admitting that all is definitely not as it would seem.

Maybe truth will out sooner rather than later ????

I think that all these folklore stories from centuries ago that portray werewolves just may have been these dogman creatures. I’ve never ever heard of a dogman before up until about maybe 3 years ago? Now, to me it seems that these dogman are becoming more common and I think they’re some sort of creature that God created, if not, then man did for sure. I just hope that I never run into one!!! I have enough stuff goin on in my own life lol. Bigfoot, yeah I don’t mind seeing one from a distance….hopefully hearing one would be more awesome. I believe your story and I pray that no one has ever had a dogman come into their home while they were there.

    Robert;
First of all, hugs to you in the loss of your brother, and for the trauma both of you went thru on that hunting day so long ago.
Thank you for sharing your chilling encounter with us!
It is clear to me that you saw a “Dogman”. Like Bigfoot, they have always been with us, somewhere. History is littered with tales of them, and I’m sure they are the root of many canine-related Myths and legends, ie, Werewolves, Hell Hounds, and so forth.
As Steve says above, you are not alone. Follow the hyperlinks Steve provided to Dogman Encounters Radio website. Like our Wes, Vic on DE is a compassionate man who is willing to just talk with you off-air, if that’s what you wish, to help you sort thru your experience.
Thank you again for sharing with us, and take care!
