Mark Evans travels to the Himalayas to find the real story behind the centuries-old Yeti legend.
He risks altitude sickness at Everest Base Camp, where the photograph of a footprint in the snow set off Yeti mania in 1951. He traces the legend through ancient manuscripts, holy relics, and a Nazi expedition, and meets people convinced they have come face-to-face with the creature known in the west as the Abominable Snowman.
Meanwhile, Professor Sykes reveals the results of his DNA tests on the Yeti hair samples he’s collected. The results are spectacular and unexpected.

I saw this a few months ago. Same old yeti stuff from a guy that has limited understanding of yeti and Bigfoot. Remember his 3 part series a couple years ago with Sykes. It was incredibly poor. He does not believe in the creatures and everything is slanted from this starting point. That show edited interviews with several researchers to make them look like buffoons I remember Dr. Meldrum railing about the samples they used to determine DNA. Meldrum was to analyze the samples first and they would use those, but that did not happen.
The Sherpas have always said there are two kinds of Yeti. The dangerous bear type and then the bipedal bigfoot type..

Has anyone simply asked the sherpa to help find Yeti?

Sure! They accept cash only and give them a day or so to get back with you…you will need a bag and a stick

Heehee.
And laughing after a comment you made reminds me that you, like me, still mourn-chuckle at the likely eventual passing of the beloved and much missed Peanut.
