Had The Crosshairs Right Between Its Eyes

A listener writes “I’ve had many unexplained things happen to me in the woods. I started hunting at a vary vary young age. I’m in wood 365 days a year even if the season isn’t open I’m training hounds.

I’ve always thought something could be out there. How can you discredit so many people saying the same thing. I’m one of those guys that believe nothing I hear and only half of what I see. My life was forever changed about 4 weeks ago. I can’t talk to anyone about it because I know what will happen.

I honestly am considering going to talk to a counselor or something. I had my shot at taking down one of these things. I had the right rifle in hand and everything. 450 bushmaster 45 caliber 300 grain bullet. Had the crosshairs right between its eyes. Long story short when I finely decided I was going to kill it it’s like it knew and took off out of sight but stopped only a little was like wanting me to go after it.

I did for a minute but then I knew it stop for a reason wanting me to go after it. I went back in the house leaning my rifle against the wall by my bed never took my boots or clothes off the whole night just sat there staring at my rifle. I know what I seen. No animal in the woods is smart enough to hide behind trees. To be honest now I feel like my time in the woods is spent looking over my shoulder more then anything. I’m sorry I’m not the best writer. I guess I just had to tell someone.”

Jeeze, poor guy. There’s nothing crummier than having your life shattered by seeing one of these. This fella needs to talk with Wes and realize there are many of us believer and knowers out here.
Smartest thing he did was not to follow. It sounded like a trap. Live to breathe another day. The boogie man will still be there if you really want to find him.

If it was me in the woods and I was holding the gun? I wouldn’t have given it a chance to try and get me to follow it, I would’ve pulled the trigger. Then you’d have your evidence. One dead Sasquatch. End of story-Game over.
