Friday Night: Two very different encounters

On Friday night I will be speaking to two guest who had two very different encounters. My first guest is Craig who is a life long hunter and has spent a lot of his time in the woods. Craig had a scary encounter with a Sasquatch.

The event terrified him so much he jumped from his tree stand and quickly made it to his car, he says “I was shaking so bad it took both hands to get my keys in the ignition…”

My second guest is Eric. Eric was returning home one night with some business associates when they saw a creature on the side of the road, Eric says “As we drove by I was about 6 feet away from this thing…looking up at it.” This event happened several years ago and Eric decided to start looking into this topic. Several years later he had a close daytime visual and writes ” He stretched straight up his eyes grew wide he paused for a second then turned to the right (my left) took a step and dropped down off the bank, disappearing.

It had a large head with very predominate facial features. It had no facial hair and very little neck. It had a short forehead with the head slopping back. It had dark eyes large cheek bones and a wide flat nose. the mouth was wide with what looked like thin lips. The shoulders were at least 48” wide and the chest was hairless. from the chest to the waist wasn’t strait down. As in its body was built like a body builders and came down to the waist in a V shape. The hair was a dark Brownish red and the skin color was also dark. That of a native American or middle eastern culture.

As it turned it stepped with the left leg leading the step it took was every bit of 6′ before dropping down and disappearing. As I mimic the movement and speed we put the sighting at 5 to 6 seconds. We averaged the distance from where I was to where it stepped out to around 100 yards. We returned the following day 8-23-15 and followed the channel back to where it stepped out. I am 6’1 and the brush was about chest high to me, and I saw from its head to it’s waist line. We did find a track way up to the spot it was seen with a matted down area where it stood. We also found a print that was 16”L from back of heel X 10”W from outside edge of the big toe to outside edge of the little toe that we did cast.”

I have to say, the encounters described by hunters are by far my favorite. Of all the friends I have talked to regarding the subject, the hunters tend to be non-believers due to the countless hours spent in the tree stand. Anything that threatens their belief system is a direct challenge to their intelligence. Love to hunt, but I don’t go alone…

SC is a very educational show. I do not think there is such a thing as a bigfoot expert and I’m not totally sure there ever will be. It’s almost like someone claiming to be a human expert which is almost ridiculous to say, since we’re all different and as unique from each other as snowflakes. Which I think the same thing applies to sasquatch. Most animals even in other countries keep the same behavior, let’s take gorillas for example. Most of them keep the same behaviors and daily routines as others that are in a complete different area and climate with no ties to each other whatsoever. I’m not saying this is the case all the time but most of the time. But if you take a group of sasquatch from Washington and a group of Sasquatch from Florida and compare the two you’ll end up finding out that the differences between them are quite significant. From their appearance, their habits, routines, their strategies for the way they hunt, behaviors and attitudes. Their just as unique from each other as a family from England to a family from Australia. Which is just fascinating and it means these sasquatch groups from all different areas and even different countries are intelligent enough to have their own unique cultures that are specifically their own. They have traits that are similar to a wild animal and they have traits that are similar to our own but then they have traits that are specifically their own. These animals are so special and unique and are like nothing else in the animal kingdom and that’s what makes them so fascinating and alluring

I think it’s pertinent to remember other examples in the animal kingdom. There are even examples of other large mammals, existing in a variety of climates, exemplifying a variety of physical and habitual traits and attitudes. Take for instance bears. One does not have to use their imagination too rigorously to perceive why a polar would behave in relatively similar, yet distinctly different manners in a certain type of situation. I’d really like to elaborate on this, as I find it very interesting, but I’ve gotta go chase that paper.. A parting thought, Wes if you see this, thanks buddy, you’re a brave soul and I admire your willingness to speak your mind and explore your interests in the face of ridicule and adversity. As I become more immersed in this subject it becomes more and more apparent that we; social primates, robust in our language and ideas, can tend to view individuals in our group who hold these ideas as maybe a group of sasquatch would view one of their own who had the physicality of Pee-Wee Herman. And as Social Primates, this (alienation) is among the very most threatening situations we can find ourselves in. How’s that for a long-winded thanks.

*perceove why polar bears would act in a manner similar yet different to a black bear or brown bear. That’s a very bare bones explanation but somebody can run with that if they please

I will be waiting in anticipation for this next show. I’m never short of amazed about Bigfoot and it’s existence amongst us humans. I believe it to be a creature that has been always among us. I too am ready to squatch at every opportunity I get. Just spent the weekend in Sedona Arizona hiking those wonderful trails. All the time I was looking around me at all times. I’ve heard of sighting in and around Coconino national forest. Wes, have you spoken with anyone who may have had any encounters in that area. Love the show.
P.S: anybody out there encounter a bigfoot, let it be: don’t kill it. What good will it do . Govt. Will cover up anyways. DON’T Kill One, ever.
Only if needed for self defense . Thought I’d get that out there. MY Opinion

    • Mary W

Well stated . Unless. To defend you and yours. Like Tyler mentioned they will vary and accounts will vary . A lot to be learned and gained . These are exciting times we live in. Truely.

I love hearing the hunter stories too. Always good to get an insight from someone that is in the woods a lot. And I’m with DrAaron. I enjoy hunting too, but after my encounter I’ll never go alone again

And also to add on to what I said earlier, the reason I absolutely love being a part of SC is the educational factor. I learn just as much from the members as I do from Wes and the guests. And I really like that the environment on SC is no longer filled with trolls making obnoxious, hurtful and unnecessary comments to people. I truely believe SC will be the foundational pillar of the subject becoming common knowledge for everyone in the general public and sasquatch becoming a legitimate verified species and I’m proud to be along for the ride to see all the progress and growth. It’s a very humbling experience. All of you guys are great and SC wouldn’t be SC without our members just as well as Wes

Great teaser…..what about the new fossils they just found in the slim compartment of a cave that are a bi pedal hominiod but the brain cavity is super small? Very excited to hear what kind of ancestor this might link us humans or large footed up right creatures to! Maybe Wes, you could touch on this topic. Thank you.

  6. Debbie C

Looking forward to Friday nights show:)
If Sasquatch/Bigfoot is aggressive, doing harm to livestock, people,
just like any crazed animal, killing it, I’m for it.
I hate trophie killing with a passion! I have no doubt someone
out there has thought about killing Bigfoot, chopping off it’s head and mounting it on there wall.

  7. Kim L

I can’t wait either, thank you Wes!
You’re right Debbie, doesn’t matter if it’s art, native American artifacts, animals, parts of animals, girls from my hometown with teeth, or anything else, if it’s in short supply some rich dude will pay anything to have it. It would surprise me if someone doesn’t already possess “the ultimate trophy”

  8. Sean C

    I can’t wait!
Thanks for everything you do Wes! I hope we still get a chance to check my area together, when you come back to Texas!

    Hunting the truth in Texas,
    Chris
