Tomorrow night Expedition Bigfoot debuts on the Travel Channel. Russell Acord will be stopping by to discuss the new show and what we can expect. Here is a description of the show “An elite team of Sasquatch specialists journey into the unforgiving Oregon wilderness in search of Bigfoot. The three-week expedition, based on science and expertise, may finally pull the elusive beast out of the pages of legend and lore and into reality.”

I wonder if this is going to be a vehicle to discredit the participants rather then validate them.
Just me, but even if they found one freshly killed by a dead-fall, I don’t think it would get aired. I know that with other “reality” programs, they staged certain situations and omitted things they (producers) didn’t want.
I wish Russell and all the very best and hope that doing this doesn’t get them “screwed-over”.

I will be watching, they have advertised this for 2 months. The travel channel has gradually formatted to the paranormal, ufo, and now bigfoot and monsters. This may show how popular these subjects have now become.

I can’t wait till tonite to watch it. This one seems like it will be the first educational bigfoot show and that is so well needed to be put out there. I watched the Montain Monster and Alaska Monster Show for pure comedy nothing else and I loved hearing the encounters on Finding Bigfoot, but the large amount of people that were out in the field with noise and lights, it was so expected that they never would see one so I never had my hopes up on that one. This show seems to be what I hope to really enjoy. Wishing them the best!
