Two things that caught my eye right away. It looks exceptionally tall and more importantly, i noticed the angle of the legs from the knee to the foot. these creatures bend that portion of the leg much farther than we do, and whatever this is, it is doing just that. so if this a hoax, someone really did their homework.

I see the knees locking as it walks. From everything I know Bigfoot doesn’t do that. Unless this thing is 7-8 ft tall it’s a fake.

I think it walks more like a human then a Bigfoot. The feet look odd to me. Could be wrong!

I can’t really make up my mind about this one. Like Mark B, it looks like the knees are locking, but I’m not sure about it. joe r makes a really good point as well. Isn’t there a video somewhere around here all about the angle of the bend at the knee. Apparently Humans have a consistent angle that is different than the angle sasquatch consistently make as we lift our lower leg and foot as we walk.
Someone please link that video (about the knee bend) if you know where it is, I’d love to share it with some peeps but haven’t been able to locate it.

If it’s a hoax it’s a very good one. The figure looks very tall and takes very long strides with a very smooth gate. It’s step and stride reminds me a lot of the Freeman video. I know if I could have seen the track line in person like that investigator did I could make the call on real or hoax. He seemed afraid to make the call in front of the camera.

It don’t look right to me, the arms don’t hang to about its knees. Its not being stealthy, trying to hide at all. Humans are the noisiest beings in the woods, so the son and dad just walked up on this thing with out it knowing it? Unlikely. More likely this is staged, its a tall dude taking long strides, not walking bent kneed.

Tye: We are noisy, and yet, some do have close-up sightings, and at 1:15 you can see the back hand hanging almost to the knee; but the knees do either lock or come very close to it…I think if a BF were long-stepping over an obstacle, it’s not out of the question that his knees would lock. Just a thought. James, I did get a sense of clothing, too, the left arm seemed lighter colored than the rest, which made me think of my high school jacket a bit. It looks VERY black otherwise, and there have been reports of sasquatch with this coloring that was not glossy, but rather seemed to suck up the light cast on it. This figure here is so dark, at first I thought it had been photo-shoppped. Dave, I see a resemblance to the Freeman video also, and the gait is smooth. Rob, I know that Thinker Thunker has remarked in his videos very specifically about the difference in angle between the striding sasquatch knee and the human one, but I don’t remember the name of the vid.

The most compelling part of the figure that says its an authentic bigfoot is that the head seems set right on top of the shoulders with no neck and it also looks like it sits at a forward angle much like an ape. Whereas humans have necks which hold our heads pretty straight up and down and off of our shoulders. The left arm looking lighter colored that the rest of the body could easily be that it is being hit by sunlight and the rest of the figure is in shadow. As far as the stride is concerned, the figure does bend its lower leg up higher than the 52 degree angle that all humans walk with and it is taking exceptionally long strides but it does look a little to me like its almost trying to take long strides instead of doing it naturally. But its not so much that it is a red flag because that could easily be explained by it trying to walk over sticks, branches, rocks, or whatever in the woods. Walking over uneven and obstructed terrain will alter any animals stride. Unfortunately we only get a very short clip (as always!) to study. That’s my 2 cents anyways!

Looks kind of scrawny for a BF to me. Like 99.9% of all these videos you can’t rule it in or definitely rule it out, but I would put my money on a gangly teenager in dark winter clothes over a stray cryptid. Without a comparison I don’t know how you can claim it’s especially tall and it definitely doesn’t have the powerful, wide-set shoulders and bulging muscles so many descriptions usually attribute to BF. The head looks very much like a human in a dark hoodie, neck tilted slightly forward. On first watch I was leaning sasquatch, but after each view it looks more human to me.

This video has already been labeled as a hoax. Bill Brock was interviewed about his investigation into this sighting and he told the interviewer that after spending his time on this sighting he was given information that the teen told several individuals that he couldn’t believe how easy it was to fool the investigators. Bill tried to get a response from the teen concerning this and the teen wouldn’t talk. Here in Maine, this has no interest whatsoever with the public or other researchers. It’s a fake.

Due diligence is needed before posting videos or stories about Bigfoot. If you do a simple Google search you will often find more facts about these videos and 98% or more of them will be labeled as hoaxes after further study. For instance, there was a well known video going around the web for a long time stating that it was a “realistic” video of a Bigfoot taped by a guy riding an ATV. Well, after some harsh scrutiny and further analysis, it was determined to be the ass-end of a moose as it slowly walked over the edge of the slope. Let’s face it, the only “true” videos of Bigfoot is the “Gimlin” film or Patty, the Paul Freeman footage, and the footage taken in a southern swamp that pre-dates the Patterson/Gimlin film.

Personally, I think we should make a point of posting every fake and/or discredited video we can find!!
This way, the people who frequent this site can become more proficient at spotting frauds.

That is one of the best videos I have seen showing a bid foot. I totally believe it is a Bigfoot. Observing its gait, the way the arms swing and its stride. I would suggests the person who took the video DONT ALLOW OTHERS define what we know. I heard the young man had been bullied at school by peers and “teachers” who should be ashamed. I see igloos myself ???? good job
