Great stuff, it seems that the only creatures that thrive unhindered by our ravages, are ones that pratice avoidance and hiding. There seems to be a whole genre of animals that are amazing at this, we are just now finding out about them, I feel National parks ars like cryptid ‘reservations’ haha who knows?

I stumbled across this a few days ago. Well narrated and a compelling narrative. It’s about the ‘Big Grey Man of Ben MacDhui’. It has a supernatural bent to it but the references to a large hominid are there. It’s open to interpretation.

PS There’s lots of advice in the comments on walking alone in Scottish hills and mountains. Not that I’ve done it but it sounds like it should be listened to.
