This incident took place in Maryland. A listener writes “This sighting happened on August 1 2001, there was a construction site there. The site was a mall called Aurundell Mills Mall being built and I worked for the electrical contractor and stuff was getting beat up and trashed at night.
I remember bags of concrete mix being thrown all over the place from where they stored it at and other stuff being pushed over etc. Well long story short they paid some guys to spend the night to try and catch the vandals.
Two or three nights went by and we got to work about 6:30 am and there was cops, military, helicopters and search dogs. The guys saw a Sasquatch at like 3:30 in the morning they said it walked right past a forklift and ran it’s hand across it.
They measured and said it was about 8 ft tall and this ain’t far from Ft Meade and the NSA. This is a lot to type but they wanted the mall opened on time and told all the workers if we talked to researchers we would be fired. It’s public but they did the best they could to downplay it. There’s more to it but I’d be happy to tell you about it.”
