Compelling Footage of Skunkape From Lettuce Lake Park Florida

Matt wrote “If it’s a person, they are either a moron or completely insane. They are walking, swimming and diving in an area where there are hundreds of 12 foot gators and water moccasins everywhere. I was there watching it for a while. Seemed to notice me and walked toward deeper water.”

Matt says “I was canoeing some of the swamps around Lettuce Lake Park and saw what I thought was a bear. I told a park ranger about it and she said that bears don’t generally get into the swamp and that there were never many sightings in general. I showed her the video and she said she didn’t know what it was. I saw the Fox13 story about the bigfoot a few weeks ago that mayor said Bob Buckhorn made a statement about and thought this might be related in some way. I never put much faith in the old skunk ape legends but when I looked closer I noticed that it had long, swinging arms and moved through very thick swamp with ease. Certainly can’t explain it myself. I didn’t get very close but I hope that this footage can be enlarged.”

That first one was just to see if I had won the internet for the day, and I think I did!

Anyway, I would’ve loved for this one to be genuine, and it definitely looks authentic, but some people casted some doubt on it.

It still is compelling all the same.

If that was real I think I would have crapped the canoe for sure as it didn’t look like they could easily paddle out of there before having a run in with the man of the bog or the “BOOGIE MAN”.

BFRO, claims this is fake, due to the fact that even though the person who taped this would not Identify himself, they “THINK” they know who did it because there is a FX man in florida who has worked on bigfoot films, named Matt. that like me saying a guy named Bobo couldn’t call a bigfoot to him if it was 25 ft. away. Now Thats just not fair.

WOW ITS DRINKING WATER LOOKS UP AND SEES HIM STEPS OVER A LOG AND LEAVES. IF IT WAS ON SOLID GROUND ITS A TEN FOOTER … THATS A MEAN ONE TO LIVE THERE …..

It seems to me, there would be more visible disturbance to the area, from setting up the shot, than I see. Nor, does it give me the impression of being a chimp. Just my thoughts, I like it.

Lettuce Lake Park is just a few short miles from my house and I think this footage is real. My property is surrounded by swamps and I am always on the lookout. So far, I have not seen or heard a thing (and don’t wish to!). However, my husband recently saw something suspicious getting a drink from a large pond at a farm approx. 3 miles away. He told me he wasn’t going to mention it, as he thinks I have BF on the brain, but said that whatever it was, was jet black, big, and that no other animals were in the pasture with it. He said it looked like a big black blob, but was definitely drinking from the far side of the pond. It was gone when he drove past a few days later.

The more compelling the video on YouTube the more vicious the feedback at any and every person who dares to question the paid corporate disruptors. All you have to do is spend 5 minutes looking across the water at a gator and know that there is NO WAY on God’s green earth that anybody in their right minds would ever consider dipping a little toe into that swampy black water. Your leg would sink down to your pelvis and if you didn’t have some real help then you will be dead by nightfall. And then to try and say “yea that’s a guy in a suit” is absolute lunacy. Nobody is that committed nobody who isn’t on a suicide mission anyway. I know that water, I know that swamp. That is not a human being catching that fish and then just walking away into deeper water.

I’ve never really could figure this video out, there’s just too many things in the way for me to have an opinion on it one way or another. I’m not sure who but I think either ThinkerThunker or M.K. Davis did an analysis on it and they believed it to be a fake. I think this is the second time it’s been on SC as well. The thing that kind of bugs me about this video is how he is so close to this thing and he doesn’t him whatsoever. I’ve always felt that sasquatch is very aware of it’s surroundings, that’s why they survived so long. Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure they have off days or some times they’ll let their guard down not expecting anyone to be around. It just bugs me is all

Totally agree with you Jim D.! And you are quite right that NO ONE in his right mind would venture into those waters. On that point alone I think it is a real creature.

Coincindently I passed by lettuce lake park yesterday! It’s thick forest and swamp as it looks! Btw lettuce lake park is an alternative lifestyle park……keep ur head on a swivel

On a serious note. If the gators don’t kill you the infection will. I saw a lady a few years back get bit when she was walkin by a lake. She survived the attack but lost her life to infection. You could only go in the water if your appearance demands respect…….

Took a trip to Mobile, Al. a few weeks ago….. This guy Matt is a Boy Scout leader… i know one of his Scouts… The Scouts carry this video with them……… I tried to talk to Matt, but not home, when i was there… Still trying to talk to him… Nice video…. Ciao

I believe that some fake videos look real and some real videos look fake. It’s up to each person’s interpretation to make their best guess, and they must do it without all of the information. All we have is a lousy, low-quality video. I believe that in this instance, regardless of the proximity, that this is real. He or she knows that the people in the canoe cannot close in on him or her. A person would be risking their life for a hoax wading in a swamp, alligator and water mocassin habitat, in a cumbersome costume just for a joke and no fame or money. To risk death by alligator death roll drowning and being ripped apart and eaten is insane. And anyone would know that their legacy would be that their death will forevermore be a punchline about a fringe subject. It’s inconceivable but stranger things have happened. And, any debunker will say, “Yes, but remember, anyone who believes in Sasquatch must be insane so it stands to reason that they would do insane things like this.”

I thought this looked authentic but heard later it was hoaxed. Can’t recall the story behind it but some there was some shady stuff about the guy that filmed it.

Dave T… around the same time of this video, someone took a pick of a gorilla suit head&shoulders.. in the water, with a skunk stripe going down middle of head….. That may be what you heard…. The guy that took this video, swears it real……. i believe him…. Ciao
