How I hate that forestry stripping. Once my husband and I went to look at some recreational property. The realtor was so proud to tell us the adjoining forest would never be built on because it was owned by such and such lumber/ logging company. I looked at her with chagrin and said, ‘So one weekend I could drive here & find machinery stripping the forest?’. No thank you!

(New Jersey) Although North Carolina is not a particularly large state geographically, it does seem to have a large number of Sasquatch sightings. According to the BFRO, they have posted 96 encounters. Of course, the legendary encounter of Tim Peeler ( my favorite) took place in Cleveland County, North Carolina.

Really? My favorite encounter from North Carolina is none other than SC moderator “Knobby”, but I don’t think it’s the same person. Encounter was different, and the guys persona is totally different too.

In the forums. He goes by the name Knobby. I do not know his real name, but, it wouldn’t be the same guy you spoke about. SC moderator ‘Knobby” is from NC, but says he lives in Cali now. His episode here is # 71, I think (I may be wrong), but it’s really a great one. Give it a listen when you can.

(New Jersey) Well m99, that explains it. I don’t spend much time in the forum, but perhaps I should.I appreciate the link, but it says the account was closed. When I can I’ll check out episode # 71. Thanks for the info.

That’s weird. I watched it this morning. Try typing in Bigfoot Hotspot Radio Episode 179, in youtube.com. That should do it. I like this account because it’s different. Mr. Knobby wasn’t at all scared until the very end. It’s well worth the listen. Hey Glen, ya’ll have a great holiday! 🙂

It’s quite common to think about Bigfoot in the NC mountains, but central and especially eastern NC is very underrated. The eastern half is quite swampy with an abundance of deer, black bear, and wild hogs.

Like that life size Patty, although I doubt it is life size, maybe 6 inches or more to short, but close enough. Gentleman made some really good points about Patty. I have one on my wall though 10 x 13. I also have the sasquatch from the first clip shown, though mine is about 4 1/2 feet tall and 250 or more pounds. I saw it in Covington, OH and just had to have it. I have it in my garden in the front and it gets it share of comments from folks, and selfies.

October 1980 I saw my very first Booger in Collowhee , N.C. While visiting GF at Western Carolina State University. It was stationary in a tree and still the clearest full facial view I’ve ever seen of one. At time I did not know anything about boogers and thought someone had released a giant Gibbon Ape that had gotten too big to handle. He looked young and in great physical condition … black all over with dark pewter framed face. Arm length is why I thought Gibbon. Family in hometown had one as a pet.

(New Jersey) Eddie, I’d love to hear about your encounter as well!! In the meantime, could you give us a description of his face. I’m guessing you’re Sure you saw a Bigfoot. However, I sometimes wonder if in some cases people are seeing a “pet” that got too big to handle. Or perhaps that escaped from a circus or a protected area. Just a thought. I know many witnesses are emphatic that they did NOT see an ape, bear, or other wild animal. I’m Sure they are right!!
