Bigfoot and Beyond writes “Cliff Barackman and James “Bobo” Fay speak with Doug Chez about a recent sighting in Oregon! Doug and his research partners were previously featured on Ep. 217 regarding a track find in the Bluff Creek, California region. Doug has come back to tell us about an encounter that he and his team had in January of 2024 near Cliff’s study areas!”

I am not sure if Wes has posted this video and analysis from Rocky Mountain Sasquatch Organization. It is of a recent probable, for me, Sasquatch sighting from this past December in Oregon, close to Paul Freeman’s video. Kelly, the lady filmed this with her I phone, got creeped out about it, so only filmed for a short time. She contacted RMSO with the video. She aslo called Cliff Barackman at his Museum. He and an associate drove 500 miles round trip and spent a good portion of the day with her. Cliff estimated distance at 800 to 1000 feet. He went up on the mountain to find appx. place it was filmed. He noted the mountain was very steep 45 to 50 degrees. He also noted that at that distance, it was easy to discern the different coloring on his cloths, kind of importaint as this one showed up completely dark. The arms do look long and except for one quick reach down it is going up with out using it’s hands. and maybe using it’s arms for balance. For me I agree with RMSO about maybe a youthful one. To me it looks like the often mentioned 7 foot linebacker build, with huge muscles and arms of course.

(New Jersey) Charles, Thanks for posting this video. I hadn’t seen it before. I think it’s a tough call. It’s estimated that the figure was filmed from 800-1000 feet. So roughly 300 yards, which would equate to about the length of three football fields. So not exactly up close and personal. Funny how so many Sasquatch films are taken at long distances with sub par video equipment! I’m sure we would all prefer a distance of 50 yards with state of the art equipment, Anyway, the video is tough to figure out. It
is a large figure with oversize arms and legs, appearing mostly black in color. It is certainly in a barren remote location where frankly no one should be. To me, what really makes this film tough to figure is the walk or gait,You hear accounts of Sasquatch navigating the steepest hills at impressive speeds with hardly a misstep! This figure looks like a drunken sailor trying to gain his balance. Now he could

Charles R, I gotta say I like what I see in that video link you posted so far… I’m not intrigued my much for video evidence but this one has me looking closer so far. It’s hitting on a few aspects of things I look for (so far).
First of all I like the way it looks squatted down and gets up (but not fully upright with straight legs), then takes a giant step while the other leg still appears bent at the other knee.
Some of the more convincing evidence to me seems as though the video evidence is recorded through a screen of brush or even an actual screen on a door or window. I think it does something to disrupt the “illusion” light coming into the recital or retina.
I’ve mentioned to researchers before about putting some kind of cage or screen around their trail cams but IDK if anyone ever actually tried it. If I were looking to get evidence that’s what I’d do… I’d probably also try a grounding wire on the cage or adversely even inducing some kind of various frequency or voltage into it. If you want to get thing in a cage this is what might work, cage the camera itself and capture it inside of that (on video).
This refraction or diffusion of light may explain to a certain degree why they’re almost never seen in the rain as well, idk, just a thought.
I’ve found several odd things about this video that strike me as possibly being credible, but I’ll still look into it more.

Hello Ron. I only posted it as I like what I saw in this video also, namely the movement you described. One a steep mountain, climbers are not taking big steps, instead short steps and a lot of use of hands for stability and leverage and such and it does not look to be wearing any cloths. The brush Kelly is looking through is very close to her, she found a slight opening to video, I think she may have been in her car. Also after she got creeped out, and had a strange feeling, so often mentioned in Sasquatch encounter, she left. However she looked back 2 minutes later and the subject could not be seen, I guess it had already cleared this small mountain. On May 4th, right now I plan on going to the Salt Fork Lake Bigfoot Conference, Ohio. Cliff will be there along with Dr. Meldrum and others. I hope to get a couple of minutes with Cliff (I was able to back in 2014) and converse with him about his thoughts on this. If I or someone can find a way to reach out to Kelly, I bet she would make a wonder guest on the Sasquatch Chronicles.

Hi Glen, The real creature (I believe) isn’t what you’d like to think it is… it’s all about deception. I only thought of this just now after your comment, but It could indeed or very well intentionally walk as though mocking a person losing their balance by walking in uneven terrain (which most people are now accustomed to flat surfaces), that way you might just think it actually was a person or hiker from a distance.

We are approaching an important intersection.
