Amazing artwork from a listener

I am not sure if the artist wants his name mentioned or not but I think this is amazing artwork.

A listener writes “Wes, I’ve found something that I enjoy and that’s listening to your podcast and trying to paint what the guest describes. I’ve spent 40 years as an illustrator and this is a fun way to still paint and be creative in my golden years. Thanks for your podcast.”

Anonymous illustrator thank you for sharing! That’s as good as any film pic is going to be and it really captures the intelligence behind the eyes!

Wow, thanks for sharing your great talent!! You capture the emotion as well as the age of the creature. Hope to see more of your art work indeed!!

That’s no sketch… a lot of time went into this detailed work.

I’m an artist and I’m impressed. If the creator of this is reading this… would you mind if I used your work to illustrate one of the short stories on sasquatchstories.com?

If you have more I would love to add you to the Sasquatch Art page as well with links to any website you may have?

Unfairly, probably, I’ve been somewhat critical when some artist call their work art. This is one of the truest forms of art to me. The details are stunning. Portrait art or art that’s in your head and you’re able to capture it beautifully on the material of the artist’s choosing, has to be some of the hardest to art to do. This person is a true artist. You can stare at those eyes and think you’re looking at a photograph of the creature, if not the creature itself. Such beautiful work. I thank the artist for sharing their work too!
