Adventure Explore Discover writes “Is Bigfoot real? Well, I can tell you right now that it wasn’t a costume. In 1967 Roger Patterson and Bob Gimlin went out into the woods and recorded something incredible. However, two men have come forward claiming to be apart of the film and also claiming it was a hoax.
Philip Morris claims to have been the costume designer but a brief look at his “remake” of the Pattie costume it’s clear he’s not being entirely honest.
Bob Heironimous has said he was inside the suit itself and played the part of Bigfoot. He walks in a similar manner in an attempt to sell his story but again… something’s don’t add up. If Philip Morris and Bob Heironimous are both claiming to be apart of the film why didn’t Roger Patterson mention them? Why hasn’t Bob Gimlin mentioned them?
And if it were truly a hoax, how did they manage to put Bob Heironimous inside a Bigfoot costume and create such a height increase that made him go from 6’ tall to 7,4” tall? Could it be that the film was real? So… is Bigfoot real?
Is Bigfoot real and if so what other things could be hiding in the shadows of the woods? It’s kind of terrifying to think about. Join me today on taking a look at the story of the Patterson Gimlin Film and looking at the age old question… is Bigfoot real?
We’re looking at the film, the material available to the men who claim to have made it at the time and the over possibility of it having been a hoax. At the end of the video let me know what you think, is Bigfoot real? Is it a hoax? Did Roger Patterson die trying to sell a lie? Why did Bob Gimlin suffer the taunting and torment of being ridiculed for over 3 decades of this was all just a lie?”

I believe many people have witnessed countless unexplainable things. I have witnessed much myself that I don’t have solid answers to.
Many skeptics would like to be able point to just one piece of evidence or footage to label a hoax so they can lump everything together, dismiss the whole topic and sleep better at night. But I’m hear to tell you right now with my hand to God to say the world (for myself) is far more interesting, with more supernatural, spiritual and paranormal aspects to it than some could wrap their heads around… maybe it just isn’t meant for some to experience, IDK… maybe being an NPC to some of the more unusual aspects of reality isn’t a bad thing. Maybe a toned down version of reality is your life test to see how compassionate or giving you are to people who aren’t like yourself. ⛅️ It would make sense then why we don’t get answers to many questions… we aren’t allowed to or have any desire to find out in the end that life was a test and then pass the answers on to the next class of Earth noobs for free 😂

I believe in lots of things people say are fake. I’ve seen and heard crazy things. If this is fake, then where is this great costume?? Apparently, show business can’t get a hold of it because in every single bigfoot movie , the Bigfoot looks cheesy as heck…. they’d look more convincing as Patty. I believe Patty is real.

I have always believed that the figure in the P/G film was not a person in a suit especially after I saw that it had breasts which are a detail that would be unnecessary in a hoaxed film. I read Greg Long’s book “The making of Bigfoot” last year and my opinion changed a bit. The book is about Roger Patterson’s character and the fact that he was a known liar and generally an untrustworthy guy. He was also actively trying to make a Bigfoot movie to sell. At the end of the book Long speaks to the person claiming to have made the suit and to Bob Hieronymous who claimed to have worn the suit. For me it really casts doubts on the veracity of the film except that the figure still does not look like a person in a suit. I would like to belive that the film is not a hoax but after reading Long’s book I have had serious doubts. This analysis reminded me of the estimated height which is too tall for BH and the proportions of the figure being out of range for a human. This was good short analysis and removed some of my reservations about the film.

This gentleman does a most credible analysis of the entire event.

I watched a documentary on the Patterson Gimlin film, and that particular documentary put patterned lines on the facial bones that moved and changed in each frame. The face was moving. Masks from the 60s can’t do that.
I’ve watched Bob Gimlin countless times on different bigfoot programs for years, and I firmly believe Bob is telling the truth. I’ve always thought it was neat that just as Roger Patterson is tapping into bigfoot, he sees one. The poor man didn’t love very long (Roger), I think it was a gift from God for him to see the creature; although, I understand seeing it also brought with it a lot of problems for both Roger and Bob.
