Woodland Animal Noises

A listener writes “Last October I sent you a long winded email. Regarding a mind speak experience with a loved one that passed and a dark figure I saw in the woods many years back. This past year however I heard 2 tree knocks on my property. Just 50 feet from me…no more than 70 max.

I’ve never heard anything like that before in my life. Immediately after the knocks to the west, my dog woofed, and then we started hearing an animal/s north of us. It sounded like something dying (unless it’s some kind of crazy mating ritual). I’ve never heard noises like this before. I wonder if we could put it out there and anybody that hunts could speak to it? There were sounds of almost like whimpering/crying of one animal, and then another loud shrieking sound.

I’ve never heard it sense. I’m attaching the video. My son recorded it standing on the porch with me. Myself and my dog were the only ones to hear the tree knocks when I was letting her out at the end of the day, but I brought my husband and son outside to listen to this animal trying to figure out what the heck is going on north of us.

I had to put her inside she kept barking, so hopefully you can hear it OK. I’ve never heard anything like it since (this was a year ago last month). The tree knocks were crazy. No one can explain that away for me. I can think of no animal that makes noises like that. Two hard knocks SO close.”

I know when we were camping I heeded 3 tree knocks out in the woods. I would have woke up my husband so he could listen but I think he had too much fun the nighttime prior. Lol

This is what it sounds like when it’s my turn to do dishes and my fiancé is cracking the whip to make sure I get them squeaky clean lol

I know you wouldn’t post this, Wes, if you thought it was a fox, but the first time I heard a fox cry I was surprised at how weird they sound. I don’t know. Nothing like a creepy sound in your yard like that. I’m impressed by the way this family sticks together trying to resolve the situation in the dark at their home. Hope everyone stays safe.
