It’s really hard to get a good idea of it’s size from that partial pic but it does look pretty big. If it something strange they will cover it up and claim it’s a hybrid Coyote/Wolf.

There is always the possibility that this animal is a coywolf or if smaller, a coydog. The mixture of a coyote and a wolf can produce a larger animal that tends to be more dominant. Meaner even. There also is the coydog too. A bit smaller but not a lot and still has the characteristics of the coywolf, being dominant and mean. It’s just a thought after seeing the photos. It’s hard to judge the size of the animal in the pics but I don’t think it’s huge cause of its size when compared to the tailgate. Great pics. Thanks for sharing them!

~ It looks like a malnourished bear, poor thing. This creature just doesn’t look wolfish to me. Just saying, for what it’s worth. I hope they do publish the DNA findings. So often you hear a story say they took DNA, then never hear the results.

I also hoped the photgrapher would have used something or somebody for scale when taking the photo…

A couple years there were a number of You Tube videos of massive wolves killed from the northern states. I presume these vidoes showing actual stills were taken down as result of pressure from the Animal Rights groups. Some of these ranchers and hunters claim these “giant” wolves were coming down from Canada and preying on their smaller cousins in the United States.

It was said this particular species or type were extremely large, aggressive, and unafraid of man.

The American wolves were then moving out of their habitat into areas or regions previously unheard of for wolves.

Can you say Dogman? Does it look like a stray dog? No. Does it. look like a wolf? No. Does it look like a coyote? Nope. Let’s see how uncle Sam worms it’s way how of this one.

I would like to see tail, feet, and the ears better to make a judgement. It’s quite large I’am with JT wouldn’t want to be anywhere near this animal…

I’m in the severely malnourished grizzly camp. If you look at teeth and compare to picture of a skull it’s a match. Front row of there with back set canines. Also, you can just barely make out the join position of the paw/lower leg and it also matches up with pictures of grizzlies.

If it is a “dog man”, interesting this should filter through the system….or soft disclosure? Or we will probably never here of this again and perhaps swept under the rug…good find.?
