Fox are extremely nervous creatures and it looks like he didn’t hear or see anything before this thing was in his view….. interesting. His reaction was so telling also.

At 1:04 fox was unaware of orb. At 1:05-1:06 fox shakes his head, tucks his ears and dodges away as if in pain….but at 1:06 the orbwas well behind the fox and apparently not within the animal’s perrifrial vision.

Did this fox sense an audible disturbance that humans could not hear….hmm, evidence of infra-sound?

And yes, if one stops the video second by second from 1:03 thru 1:07 it becomes quite evident that something beyond the norm is messing with the fox.

I agree with you Bob, it either picked up a very high frequency or my first impression was a reaction of irritation pets give off when tickled around the nose or ear. Maybe they send out sonic vibrations.

Wow – what a catch. This one is exactly like the one I saw on the 3rd Thursday of July, 1995 while traveling north on I-75 in Michigan, adjacent to the town of Grayling and the Grayling National Guard training base. They due cast off energy as I was alerted to the orb by pop cans ( worth 10 cents a can in Michigan ) moving around in my friend Rick’s truck bed next to the rear window. I turned to see what was the clatter and an orb just like this, same size, more hazy than bright. was motionless and staring at me. It was only 1 foot at most from my face. Upon alerting Rick to turn ( he was driving ) around this orb blasted straight up so fast it was out of sight in one second. I suspect the fox picked up the energy off this one also.

After looking at this one again and again if you watch the wood line you can see movement moving to the right, after the orb enters the picture. Perhaps someone is conning us ( what a surprise that would be ) baiting the ground with food for the fox and then hurling a baseball or softball towards it. The orb I described above was about the size of a softball.

The orb seemed to just “step out of space and time” into view and near the fox. Was it deliberately messing with the fox? And how many times as a kids playing in the woods we’d “discern” something and hide until the “coast was clear”? I think the fox felt it and fled. Whatever orbs are, I don’t think they’re friendly.
