This seems to be relevant to the Bigfoot World. How Stuff Works writes “Have you ever found yourself infuriated by someone’s opinion posted online? Or, perhaps, taken it a step further and attempted to argue with them?
Why can’t you win an argument online? The answer leads into a cognitive conspiracy that might surprise you.”

Interesting post.

Dr. Phil once said,” do you want to be right, or do you want to be happy?”

I want to be happy because I am right… 😉 😀

This is so good and just sent it to my husband! Yes, I would say this explains A LOT indeed in relation to the Bigfoot world.

Is it not better to never argue with claims, but rather to make your point and reach a conclusion by asking questions… ?
Does not questioning rather than claiming force your ‘opponent’ to 1, support their claim with evidence? and 2, remove animosity by keeping oneself in a position of enquiring empathy rather than confrontational opposition?

It would be so nice Wolf if people actually discussed things like this.

I think a lot gets lost in translation when communicating online. I agree with what you are saying Wolf.

So true Wes.
People type things they would never say to another’s face… often in response to words misunderstood or mis-contextualised by the lack of verbal/physical communication.
