I read all of Sitchen’s books in the early 1990s. Total mind opener and they spawned a lot of other researchers which has culminated with the History Channel’s hugely successful series of Ancient Aliens which has been going on for 10 years now. But I too have a lot of problems with the total story. For one, how can the 12th planet as Sitchen called it, Nibiru , orbiting the Sun billions of miles out there ( and most astronomers feel there is a Neptune size planet and are desperately trying to find it ) possibly contain any life. It would be at least 300 degrees below zero and receive no sunshine. No amount of gold would change this, it would just make for cold gold. My guess would be the Annunaki came from a planet in the Orion belt as the porthole of the Great Pyramid of Giza is directed towards this. Also the 3 pyramids of Giza are aligned with Orion’s belt as would have been seen approximately 10k years before Christ.
