    Good video.
Yes, the advice seems like common sense, but, you can’t hear these things often enough. It’s like anything else – practice, practice, practice.
Also, I really like how Matt and Duke include artwork in their videos. I think it’s important for people to see and understand the proportions of some of these creatures. Especially for people who are new to the subject/topic.

    Thanks for sharing, Wes.

Helpful video, very clear and simple. ?

I personally learned how to act by an early episode of SC where the man encountered a few after following tracks into the woods….look away, hands out (open faced) and back out slowly…. Believe me on a few scary hikes that has popped into my mind lol. Oh and he may have said to let them know you’re leaving ?

Carry an extra long selfie stick with you. Then when one walks out in front of you, casually walk up next to it and get close side by side. Hold that selfie stick with phone high, then take that pic with your new found 9 foot hairy friend that will set your facebook page on fire and may make you an internet star.

If you have been fishing do what one fisherman did ( and one that George Noory gets a kick out of ). Hand over your fish to the Bigfoot and hope that the Bigfoot will give you one back and then wander off.

Never go up and kick one in the shins and then say catch me if you can while you take off running.

I heard Bob Gimlin in an interview a couple years ago say if this happened to him he would just sit down, which is an act of submission in the animal world. His hope would be that the Bigfoot may stay around for a while and Bob would strike up a conversation and see it interaction can be made.

My grandson and I encountered one very close but didn’t see it but the sound of the growl it gave off it had to be very close so we both backed out quickly. I had seen activity on this property for quiet a while such as twisted limbs and trees pushed over and I heard deer being chased down at night screaming and then silence after the kill. The biggest mistake I made was feeding them this was back in 2009 and I was not aware of the consequences of my actions. Since then many people have come forward about the dangers of feeding them but at least I learned from my mistakes…
