Ep. 88 Jurassic Park, and 132-3. A gold miner’s encounter. I still replay those two quite frequently. Keep up the great work, loving all of the new content, and never get tired of the old.

  2. Donna A

Tracy who’s work van broke down in Ky at night and had to pull his pistol after accidentally pissing on one he didn’t know was standing right outside the van door. Still gives me goose bumps thinking about that episode.

  3. Trey

Wes & Woodys encounter and the Seige of Hanobia are always a good listen. I also like Episode #10 the Hunters encounter and Episode #40 with the Police officer from Colorado. Man theres just too many to name I could keep going and going from Tracys encounter to Bob Gimlin plus Bear and Coonbo. Too many to name.

  4. Scott P

Man that’s tough….. I’d have to put yours in there, down the rabbit whole 1 & 2 and any of the Mr Black stuff. Man…..that’s like picking your favorite child !!!!

  5. Scott P

Geeze…. I just read some of the other submissions. I didn’t want to taint my answer but, there are some other amazing encounters I didn’t think of. You may need to break it into a two or three part top 10.

  6. Bryan H

Mine would have to be, siege of Honobia, and I believe episode 77 or 78, it was for members only, when Bob Garret talked about mining by himself, got sick, and possibly got carried off by one of these creatures.

  7. Steve W

Tracy’s encounter without a doubt. Pissing on a squatch and living to tell about it – priceless!

Second would be the show with the sheriff’s deputy that got called away on a false 911 call.

  8. Christine J S

#1 ep 132-33…Bob Garrett; wonderful story teller with so much insight into BF behavior and long term interaction (100% honest). Other stories regarding “Sky Quakes” & lost canyon…so fascinating!

    #2 ep 67-68…Insider part 1 & 2

#3 ep 70,71,72…Down the rabbit hole…All the inside info regarding HATEFULL attempt to cover-up BF especially the part when Bob Garrett throws in the towel [he sounded so broken hearted] over the theft of all his computer records (videos and pictures); radio show; youtube channel & general threats to wife and family.

    #4 & 5…Tracy G & ep 155

    #6 Deathbed confession…excellent

Wes there are just too many to choose from, good luck if you just try to pick out the scary shows….

  9. Teresa V

Wes and Woody’s encounter, Chewbacca man, Bob Garrett’s gold prospecting, Down the Rabbit hole, Coonbo and Bear, oh there are so many. Siege of Honobia, I almost forgot that one!

  10. Tyler D

The Siege of Honobia ofcourse, I listen to that episode every single time I’m bummed out. But one of my absolute favorites is Bear and Coonbo had a big group of people with them but slowly get surrounded by well over 20 sasquatch. And only Bear and Coonbo had the sense to get everyone in the car to get out of there but as they themselves tried to get into the car the alpha popped out the woodwork and took a swipe at poor ol’ Bear. And this one, I believe was in Mexico, and this lady was telling a story about when she was very young. Her mom, dad, brother and sister were all on this trip. But her and her siblings were asleep when she woke up to realize that they were no longer at their camp but her, her sister and brother were in the bed of the truck and they were taking off on this dirt road at high speed. When she sat up she realized that something large was chasing and gaining on the truck. To kind of wrap it up the sasquatch jumped on the bed of the truck extended his hand to this young girl as to say “Take it, I won’t hurt you”. As she was about to, her brother grabbed ahold of her and she snapped out of it. Her parents couldn’t shake this thing off the bed but fortunate enough for them her dad had a gun in the cab. He pulled it out, aimed it just over the children’s heads and let two shot ring out. And mind you, this is all happening while her dad was driving the truck. So this tells you just how frightened this poor family was, the dad at high speed took his eyes off the road, looked towards the bed and squeezed the trigger. And it finally broke it’s grip. But SC has soooo many great episodes it’s extremely hard to pick and choose

  11. Dutch W

Episode 169, this is a future episode where these 2 women were traveling in their Subaru Forester early one evening with the windows down after attending a Hillary campaign drive in Lower Virginia. As they were driving, a horrible stench entered the vehicle, it was a stink like rotten meat and popcorn when suddenly Pat, who was driving, realized her birkenstock shoe had come off her size 14 foot, just as they were relieved it was Pats shoe and not Kerri’s, a large Biped creature had taken 3 steps and crossed the road in front of them
Since it was not too dark they both realized that this “Thing” was covered in hair and at least 7 feet tall . Kerri demanded Pat stop so she can get out and see where it went into the tree line. Pat did just that , once fully stopped Kerri got out of the car and Pat told her to get back inside , after Kerri threatened to hit her….Again Pat sat quietly, watching Kerri as she stepped off into the tree line cell phone in hand ready to take a pic of what they saw…The weird part,, there was no sound except for the mans wallet chain Kerri was wearing. Within 2 minutes of her eyes adjusting to the dark she realized that the tree in front of her was not a tree but the very creature her and whats her name had witnessed, Kerri looked this creature over , it was well over 7 feet tall covered in 3-4 inches of hair but the disgusting thing was it had male genitalia, Kerri felt herself get weak and forced herself to look away as this was something she had only seen exaggerated replica’s of and was not prepared to see a real flesh and blood masculine beast of an animal with primal needs and forced desires that even Kerri in her petite 5’9 246Lb body could not stop. Kerri turned and ran falling unbuttoning her levis and running and falling all the way back to the Subaru, she jumped in screaming No stop oh stop you beast oh, Pat asked what the Hell? bringing Kerri to her senses and than Kerri screamed no she yelled, scream is too feminine Go! As they sped away Pat asked Kerri hat she had seen , when Kerri replied” nothing I do not want to talk about what I seen” Pat added “Good, I was afraid it was another Hillary supporter you would find attractive and I could not deal with that”. This encounter is going to be one of my favorites…Cant wait to hear the Sasquatches version.

  12. Jostein N

Episode 67 – The insider, part 1, was so exciting I just had to become a member to get to listen to part 2. There are too many good episodes for me to able to pick a favorite.

I would like to say that Episode 69 – Bigfoot chased ATV has a special place in my heart. When the guy was recounting how he had driven away from the creature, but had to stop and suddenly realized he had not yet escaped, he had such powerful emotions in his voice.

  13. Damon M

The two part show from Northern California when Will was still with you. That Bigfoot was crazy, and great description by the guest. I think he lived in Willets from his description.
Honabo and your encounter is great too. It’s more than creepy when it goes to all fours, taunting you…

  14. Pierre M

Its hard to name just one favorite encounter. But the encounter where the sasquatch chased the girl to her house and threw her dog across the yard. Thats the one that comes to my mind at first thought. That encounter terrified that lady and left a unforgettable memory on her as in which all encounters do. But I always wonder why the boys left her by herself and didnt give her a ride back to her house. I wonder did they see something too. Maybe Wes could help answer this question for me by asking her. I cant remember the ladies name or what state that encounter happened. But that has to be one of the most terrifying encounters Ive heard. Just to imagine a 8 or 9 foot Sasquatch breathing down your neck as you ran in terror. Wes if you read this can you answer that question for me? Why did the boys leave her? Did they see something or sense something wasnt right too?

  15. Steven D

Bob Garret’s prospecting encounter was amazing and Tracy’s when he called in with his recent encounter that was very transitive . Also loved the Bear and Coonbo stories .Also anything talking about Dogman seeing that would be my worst nightmare come to life!!!

  16. John s

    1. Seige of Honobia 2. Germer Bros (that’s what got me hooked in the first place) 3. Tracy G in that very order keep up the good work and maybe try some listener field trips in the future especially for us limey foreigners just doesn’t do your ego much good when the most monstrous thing we can track is rabbits!!! And a big hello to every other lister/fan around the world this is something we all add to and learn from and long may it continue thank you Wes your a good lad!!

  17. Patrick F

The one with hunter in the high seat when the saquatch caught a hog. The one when the saquatch chased the pick up and was trying the grab at them in the back. Tracy encounter and the one where the kid met one on a trail and it was holding half a dead dog!!

    • Kathy E

Yes that one of the 2 boys seeing that sasq. Carrying half of that dead dog and some clothing. That one is so creepy! I have’nt been able to find that epp. To listen to it again.

  18. joe r

Wes, After looking at these picks the overwhelming favorite is Tracy from Alabama, the van driver that broke down, this was the last phone call you took on episode 75, hands down the favorite.

  19. Synbios

I wont lie I must listen to many of the over and over again. They are bed horror stories then horror stories.

I will have to do a re-review of a few before I can touch on my favourite but DEFO Woody and Wes encounter kicked me off into the Bigfoot obsession and I think is my favourite encounter. I just can’t remember the encounter when some dude as a kid walked into his room and could see a sasquatch at the window. Love window ones.

I read The Paramedic and wished for it to be on podcast and my dream has come true that is looking to be the best and looking at the comments it looks like it wont disappoint. I will listen tomorrow night.

  20. Karey E B

Gosh, wish I could remember the episode number…it’s where the hunter is breaking in/utilizing his coyote call whistle/horn (he creates them, kinda like duck-calls), he’s up in a tree stand, he’s also a nature-photographer) when something comes down the canyon–and he THINKS it’s a bear.
    It’s dogman.
All the decades, he’s gone into the forest alone to photograph nature, he’s NEVER seen anything like this.
It scared him enough that he’s NOT selling THIS particular coyote call/horn because it terrifies him to think that some hunter will be out there, use the thing…only it’s this MONSTER that will show up.
I dunno why THIS particular episode ‘GOT ME’!
I have to say, the 2nd episode that gave me chills was Bob Garrett’s recounting of that horrific camp scene, and the government’s attempt to shut him down. The attack, the deaths, the catatonic survivor, the ‘Bear’ government bullies…I dunno which would scare me more: Bigfoot, or the government’s hidden Sasquatch agenda.

  21. Pat T

Wes, Tracy beyond a doubt, the raw emotion and trauma from his encounter. Lynn would have to be second with an incredibly scary ordeal. Rounding out the top three has got to be Joseph the paramedic. Fantastic story. Quick shout to you Wes : your doing a fantastic job of bringing us the best guests with the best encounters bar none. Your hard work is paying dividends for sure. Love the show!

  22. Phil P

Pam “Purple” Rose’s encounter. She was in a VW campervan and was being harassed by a creature. I think that’s back in the Bigfoot Hotspot days. What happened to all those episodes? Can you please Re-post them here?

  23. Rick K

Please consider EP: 16 Bigfoot/Sasquatch Government Coverup
This is an amazing encounter of a hunter that shot a sasquatch.

If there’s anyone here at S.C. that hasn’t heard it, I highly recommend it.

  24. Karen C

In Last man standing, I was on the edge of my seat hoping the Calvery would show up, an the cousin DID come back! WHOOOO Then I loved the young man on his ATV and had his gas turned off when bigfoot threw a basket ball size rock when he finally took off! Thrilling

  25. David C

My favorite encounter is “A Goldminer’s Encounter” With Bob Garret. Bob is a sincere, honest man with a lot of knowlege of sasquatch. I enjoy his stories.

  26. Mary H

I have three in no particular order, Tracey’s encounter, Chewbacca Man and It’s a Trap where the teenage hunter could see one peeking in front of him while several were sneaking up from behind.

  27. Cindy E

EP-2 Woody and Wes (The one that got me hooked). EP-109 Campsite Encounter (Randy Harrington). EP-108 Sasquatch on my roof. Chewbacca and Tracy’s. I love them ALL!

  28. Saint Vincent

I’m going with the insider part one Wes. I mean Jesus Christ! Ken had his Windows shaking from ultra sound, punk ass police scared to investigate, squatches in trees peeping on prego women, squatches getting there heads blown off from fu*kink with the wrong pot grower, etc!! Squatches casing accidents on ice, squatches tearing the heads off gynormous ass dogs, squatches outmanuvering ken and reaching in on him like the big female on the lone star trail assuring mutual destruction! Need I go on? That shit blew my mind. Wichita isn’t hard to do but still…. Just sayin. ????????

  29. pam

    Not in any order-
Bob Garrett’s gold mining encounters (just awesome)
    Tracy G (I think it is G.)
    Wes and Woody’s experience
    The Deathbed Confession
any that have to do with Dogman (I HATE that thing!)

  30. Seamus J. C

I have to say that my favorite episode is the one where I don’t see a sasquatch, don’t poop my pants, don’t become afraid of the woods and don’t have to deal with the ridicule of my peers. Shortest episode ever!

  31. Saint Vincent

Lmao Seamus. Mine too. What a hard question right? Favorite episode? Where does one begin. Bob Garett? Wes and woody? Freakin tab boy and his near death rock upside the head? The deathbed confession? Or how about old boy that kissed in ones lap when his truck broke down!!! Uhhgg wes such a hard question to answer. Smdh. ????

  32. Christian L

I don’t remember the number…I think it was in the #50’s with the lady from Northrern Mexico when a BF jumped onto her parents truck and was reaching for her in the truck bed as they were speeding off…I still think that’s one of the best ever…wish you could track her down and interview her siblings and parents. There was another one w the two kids in Colorado that were being chased and the one kid told the other “don’t turn around and keep running”….

    • Christian L

Episode 47 is with the two kids from Colorado chased out of the woods…..perfect horror story…. I couldn’t find the episode # for the lady from Mexico but reading the comments that seems to be a popular one.

  33. James M

There are many favorites but the one that scared me the most was the one with the children in he back of the truck. the booger was trying to grab them The dad was trying to speed up I have to.say that the new one with the paramedic was pretty close.

    • Trey

Yes this was a great and very informative episode back when we were lacking a lot of those details and it seems his details have lasted the test of time too. Especially finding the camo where they had stolen a bunch of stuff.

  34. Jay Carlsen

    1) Siege of Honobia
    2) The episode where the Guy see it holding 1/2 a Dog
    3) Chewbaca Man ( I have Listened to this Episode 1 a day , at Least. In the Background on my Computer . ) TJ – ‘ He doesn’t like you , He Doesn’t Like You Here ‘ When He tuned & ran , & TJ Called after Him ‘ WAIT ! ‘ The Man said ” NO! , NO !! – C’mon Run!” i just LOVE IT !

  35. Eva S

1: From Bigfoot Hotspot days, done on 3/01/13 “Crazy Encounters”, the first time I heard Wes and Woody’s encounter. I’ve been hooked since then and haven’t been able to get enough of Sasquatch Chronicles since!
2: Bob Garrett’s ” Scary Night on the Lonestar Trail” SC Ep 35, I liked “Deidra’s” encounter before Bob’s story, too!
3: SC Ep 40 “Sasquatches Circling our Camp”
4: SC Ep 11 “The Siege at Honobia”
5: Any and all of the call in shows have been awesome.

My new favorite is SC Ep 155 “A Paramedic’s Encounter”

There are so many that I listen to over and over, it’s really hard to choose just one favorite. I saw someone else had asked Wes if there’s a possibility of adding the Bigfoot Hotspot episodes to the podcast section on the Sasquatch Chronicles website, I would love to be able to listen to most of those again, too if you can recapture them, Wes! That’s where I first heard Mike Wooley’s encounter and there were many others I can’t find anymore from those first Bigfoot Hotspot shows. Thank you, Wes!

  36. FlagStaffer

My two faves are Bob Garrett’s story of the helpful ‘Squatch in Colorado that aided him when he was very sick and the 2 part “Last Man Standing” about the psycho ‘Squatch that was tearing deer and dogs to bits with the interesting side story about the grower with all the firearms who got all paranoid.
Remember, “It’s not paranoia if they’re really after you.”

  37. rob b

I have listened to every show multiple times while I work – and by far the absolute scariest episode is the one from Mexico where the little girl wakes up in the back of a pickup truck with a sasquatch chasing their truck. It jumps up on the bumper and reaches it’s hand out to her. Wow! It would fit right in with the Spielberg Amazing Stories I watched as a kid–but this one is real. The scariest true story I have ever heard.

  38. Cameron D

Chewbacca Man and the second hand story (I think Coonbo told) of the hunter who was ripped apart after shooting one. Hard to call that a favorite but it definitely stood out. Scary shit.

  39. Kay S

Wes, the interaction between you and Woody when you related you encounter made it stand head and shoulders above the others.
I could, and have, listened to it over and over again.
There are so many others that run a close second that to name them all would be counterproductive.

  40. MONTE M

This latest paramedic encounter, last man standing, the one out East where the Boyscouts go off to smoke a PHATTY and encounter a PATTY holding a half eaten dog ( everyone had the munchies ) The lady who had groups of them including dogmen living in the woods right across the road from her house and shed view them from her upstairs windows .
I was intrigued by the description a man gave from out in CA that said he seen one come down out of a Redwood tree head first like a squirrel .

  41. Robert W

Wow after listening to episode last night I vote for that as well…so mine are:
    Paramedic;
    Tracy and the van/urination experience;
Police officer and the old man (the guy who cast the track)

  42. Victoria A

Everyone’s suggestions are so good. There was one incident that twisted my insides when the man described seeing the Sasquach carrying the half body of the dog that gave me such chills.

  43. John Ellison

Episodes #67 & 68, “The Insider part 1 & 2. What a story the guy tells and what he done to see the creature. He tells a detailed account of what all he went through, even down to the animals that were missing in the neighborhood. To me, this is one of the best, but like so many others have said, it is really hard to pick just one, due to the fact that they ALL are good. I also recall a episode where Wess and Will were taking call ins, and a guy called in, and Wess even said he just about didn’t do it, but a delivery driver for a newspaper had broken down in a big cargo van and was waiting on someone to come and fix his van, which had broken a serpentine belt, and he was straightening up his van and decided to take a leak out one of the side doors, and he thought he had pissed on a Sasquatch. He heard a snort and when he looked out of his van, he was face to face with one of these creatures. He fell over backwards and grabbed his gun, and the picture he created in my mind of what the creature did will stay with me forever, he said the creature made a “Ohhh” expression with it’s mouth and then it disappeared. He emptied his pistol and reloaded and when the lightening flashed and lit up the area for a second,, he seen four more approaching him, and to me, the image that this gentleman painted in my mind is priceless. The stories that these people on this show tell are some of the best, so these are just a few that this member fell in love with. Like many others, I have listened to each and every show multitude of times, and I love them all. I have been a member since Sasquatch Chronicles started, and I’ll be a member as long as it keeps going. Thanks for all Wess and his crew does to let individuals who have seen these creatures, vent and tell their stories to those of us that want to learn and know, without fear of ridicule or judgement. Thank you all!! From John Ellison, an ol grain fed country boy in WV…..

  44. Robert V

I like them all. My favorite are Seige of Honoby, Deathbed confession, Rabbit Hole episodes, the one where the Sasquatch draws the kids in at the window by waving the finger, the redone encounter where the family is attacked, Tracy’s is good, and I liked the woman in Colorado (think that’s the state) where she lives alone and they were walking on the roof, and the recent police officer with the old couple.

Wes you’re doing a great job. Keep it up.

    Bob V.

  45. Chris I

I love ep 40 especially when the kid tells dad when they get home that he was seeing one about 10 ft behind him…yikes!!! I also love the one where the two teenage boys are out on a camping trip and been shooting guns all day and as they go to bed something starts touching their tent. Next day they’re doing the same thing and that night a Sasquatch chases them to their vehicle. He falls down and his friend picks him up and helps him to the car. Then he finds out it was only about 20 ft behind him. Good stuff!!!

  46. moderator7

Episode #80 Part 1 Pat From Oklahoma
    Episode #90 Bob Gimlin
    Episode #155 Joe The Paramedic
Episode #51 The Spottsville Monster Part 1
Episode #2 Wes And Woodys Encounter
    Episode #11 Seige At Honobia
    Episode#97 The Chicken Man
    Episode #27 Its A Trap
    Episode #107
    Episode #130

  47. Timothy D

Many good shows but the one were the magazine delivery person’s van was disabled in Mississippi and unknowingly relieved himself on a Big foot really left an impression. I couldn’t imagine a closer up front and personnel account than his experience.

  48. Kathryn C

Bob Garrett’s encounter when he was gold mining in Colorado. I really love to listen to every encounter but that one stood out. The story was amazing and I think Bob is a natural story teller.

  49. MilitantDanny

Episode 54, Chris from New Jersey with his two encounters. One being at 10 feet carrying half a dog, and the other at night being screamed at and charged. Dude was on-point with his story and recollection. You could tell he was reliving it, and that is what sells me his story being true.

  50. MilitantDanny

    Honorable Mentions:

    EP 2 – Wes/Woodys
    EP 10 – Hunter Encounter
EP 11 – Siege of Honobia
    EP 27 – Quinten’s Encounter (It’s a Trap!)
EP 40 – Man and kids being circled
EP 45 – Ex-SF dude telling stories about his encounter and his friends in CAG/Delta hunting these things
EP 53 – Carla taking her son hunting
    EP 54 – As mentioned above…
EP 67-72? – All the Down The Rabbit Holes
    EP 110 – Hunter Shoots A Sasquatch with a pocket .22

…. Man there’s a lot I can’t remember the actual number. But its just as important that the story is told well as it is the content for believability. Which if genuine, usually isn’t difficult.

  51. Tony M

Bigfoot Hotspot Radio encounter with Wes and Woody got me into S.C. Then Ep 19 with Coonbo and Seige of Honobia was awesome and the one were the hunter shot the female Bigfoot in th tree and the male B.F. came and picked the female up and carried her up the cliff was the shizzel!

  52. Sean C

Punk ass, you know Insider part 1 made most of us join to hear part 2!
Bob Garrett, when he got sick.
Tracy, when he got stuck on the side of the road.
The little girl in the back of the pickup truck!
You and Woody’s encounter was insane!
There are so many, there is no way I can pick a favorite……that’s why I never cancelled my membership. What you give us is well worth the change brother! I just hope I get to join you and Bob and crew in the woods someday, since I live so close to the action. Thank you for everything Wes!

    Chris, searching in Conroe

  53. Mary W

I agree with the rest and would add the episode where family would rather burn than death by sasquatch . And paper boy who found snow tracks, then gave up rout. Wes please provide earliest episodes I e blog talk radio days? Cause MY how u have grown!

  54. Lori B

    1. Wes and Woody’s. 2. Goat Lady’s head carried by bigfoot. 3. Man chased by skunk ape while walking in the woods. He was supposed to visit friends but they were all out somewhere else.

  55. Bernadine F

It was SC EP:75 Looking back over the last 75 shows…….Pam who encountered a White Sasquatch outside the barn stealing the horses afterbirth and trying to take a baby horse. When she told her husband and the ranch hand they laughed at her. She was very traumatized. That gave me the chills.

  56. Andrew L

The Insider Part 1, hands down. The Siege at Honobia is a close 2nd and Episode 54: The Ape Canyon Attacks episode with the kid Chris from New Jersey who spoke about seeing a Grey Sasquatch holding a dog that had been torn in half. But yeah, Ken the Insider had a great story. It’s still the best story I’ve ever heard next to the events in Honobia, Oklahoma.

  57. June P

The Seige at Honobia, Chewbacca Man and #83…. Sorry, I had to go with 3…. There are so many great ones.
Honobia was great as it was an on going encounter with a lot of detail. Chewbacca Man….totally creepy for obvious reasons, and #83 because something about being trapped in a piece of construction machinery in a ‘glass box’ is just terrifying!!!
    ????????????

  58. Gary C

    Seige of honobia
    Tracy’S broken down truck encounter
    Death bed confession

Oh and down the rabbit hole series was totally tops, it’s all I could think about for weeks

    Cheers

  59. craig b

too many great ones to name just one favorite, several were awesome to me because they were in areas I have lived in: .the kid from new jersey that was hiking in New York when he saw one carrying a dog ripped in half. The fireman from NYC that saw one while hunting in upstate NY, and Tracy that saw one at a range of 18 inches while he was in his delivery van. The tracy story was great radio…but I had some doubts about the veracity of the account, but who cares about that, I love a great story as much as the next guy.

  60. Joseph D

The first one I heard when I found your show and got me hooked was Episode 54 when Chris in Bear Mountain, NY was hiking at 13 and saw a Grey Sasquatch carrying the head and front legs of a dog. You could hear the shock and fear in his voice. He also had a scary encounter 10 years later in Bergen Pines NJ which was kinda funny in the way he describes it. Also, discussed the missing hindquarters of a bear that was ripped off and the neck twisted backwards and the recently missing Rutgers student allegedly killed by a black bear or was it a Sasquatch. Wes and Woody’s encounter, I felt like I was in the car with them. Tracy’s traumatic encounter, really felt for him. EMT’s was great as was the Death Bed Confession. Too many others really. Great show.
Wes you are a great interviewer, Larry King wishes he was you!

  61. Jonathan E

I always have this one stuck in my mind: the one where they guys motor bike runs out of gas and then he has his encounter and a last minute escape on the back of his buddy’s bike.

  62. Stacey H

Wes, let me begin by saying that you and Woody’s encounter is by far the most interesting to me personally. The detail is amazing.
Following that- being from north Alabama- the episode that has stuck in my head the most was the one where the delivery man, who’s van broke down just past the Alabama/Mississippi state line in the pouring rain and he opened the sliding side door to “relieve himself”, and was then attacked by one leaning into the cargo area, has to be a #1 in my book.
My #2 pick would have to be the hunter who was able to observe one knocking on a tree and pulling out an opposum and eating it and observing it for such a lengthy time. This occurred just north of Nashville, Tn. Again, this is very close to my home of 23 years in north Alabama.
There are frequent accounts near our home in Limestone and Lauderdale counties, yet most of them are word of mouth due to fear of ridicule. Hell, my own family thinks I’m insane! With that being said, I KNOW I’m not. I am a believer. I study everything I can get my hands on.
Kudos to you for making a place where people who have encounters can come and not be made to feel they are nuts! Oh, and tell Woody that they are not UFO’s and to man up! Love you guys!

I forget what episode it was, but the one involving the guy who kinda took on the role of protector of his neighborhood. The sasquatch was either old or extremely aggressive. The guy kept finding deer ripped apart. It’s a truly terrifying encounter. Stacey above mentions the episode about the guy observing the things for so long a time he really got an impression of details and mannerisms. That one, for pure research reasons, is another that sticks out in my mind. But, hands down, it’s the former episode I mentioned. I kept an eye on the woods and windows for awhile after hearing that one.
