“Brown County State Park, east of Nashville, Indiana spring of 1990. I was operating a crane during a change-out at Otis Elevator in Bloomington, Indiana 7 12 hour shifts for 2 weeks. My cousin was getting married in Columbus the next day and I was going to stay in Columbus, go to the wedding, then back to Otis for the last half of my shift.
About 1-1:30 am I was coming to the entrance to the state park, in the middle of the road a guy was doing jumping jacks trying to get me to stop. I pulled over, pulled out my Rugar 10-22 just in case and stepped out of the van. Something was on the north side of the road about 30 ft. up. This guy was scared, I jumped back in the van, unlocked the door and he dove in. We were being pelted with good size rocks. The guy had crapped his pants and I don’t blame him. In the rear view we could see the silhouette of this thing, it was big and pissed.
We stopped at the gas station about a mile east and he changed into a pair of sweats I had in the back. We did not go back to check out what the thing was or if it was still there.
Please contact me and I will share further details with you…”

My bother is a conservation officer in Brown Co.. It is 15 miles from my home town. I have hunted and fished the area and had a few odd experiences back in the 80s-90s.

When he retires in a few yrs. you can bet I’m gonna grill him.

Yes I’m from Indy and have had one very weird thing happen at McCormicks Creek park camping in the 80s that I just wrote off until I’ve heard some of there behavior and vocals.

Well, that was a frightening encounter. Hope we get more details on this one. Amazing how dangerous parks are beginning to appear to me.

WOW!!! It’s a good thing this driver came along when he did, for the other guys sake. The smell of his pants might have been what made the bigfoot mad. Just kidding. Have you all noticed it seems like there are more and more of these creatures out there, anywhere? It makes me already feel that none of our woods are safe anymore. Makes you want to have an elephant gun at your front door. Thanks.

I think they’ve always been there. We (the public) didn’t hear about them. More encounters are being reported now in places like SC that allow the story to be told. Note this encounter took place in 1990. And I don’t believe many hoaxers would go as far as to crap their pants to sell a story.

This sounds like it will make for a great interview. Native Americans believe that elevated sightings of the Big Man indicate the coming end days….. It could be that shows like this are making people more comfortable with coming forward. We conservatively probably only hear from 1 out of 10 witnesses…. Imagine the encounters out there just waiting to be shared !! Awesome job Wes.

I’ve held back on this for a while now, afraid to jinx it but, I do believe this web site / pod cast has truly become a ”game changer”, and one we should all keep vigilant to protect because of that very fact.its appearing that these encounters are more the norm than infrequent, random events, and are by far more previlent in our national parks and forests then previously believed. I’m just afraid of SC’s popularity growing and possibly causing gov’t (dept. Of interior???) Interference with all of these stories and events coming to light. Wes, I sincerely hope you have extreme backups of all so far. I’m good at hiding information myself, so please don’t hesitate to gather some of us subscribers to aid in dispersing the information you have gathered and show archives to some of us for safe keeping. They can’t suppress an army with data they can’t find…..and please, keep up the Good works….. I, for one, volunteer to help in any way possible. This has become far too important to take chances
You’ve opened a lot of eyes…

Well said, James.
