Watts Valley Wolf Ape

I want to thank Kurt for sending this to me. The YouTuber writes “From ParanormalInterests: Watts Valley Wolf Ape looks at supposed sightings of a werewolf like creature in Watts Valley in California.”

There are stories of a strange creature prowling the foothills of Fresno County, of a strange creature with long grey mangy hair and the face of an ape or baboon and has both human like hands and feet. It always appears to be sick, coughing and foaming at the mouth. Legend calls it the Devil Ape or Devil Fang, but lately it has gone by the name of Watts Valley Wolf Ape as it has been seen near the Watts Valley Cemetery.

There are stories aplenty of the Wolf Ape, that the first Native Americans that came over the Bearing Straight co-existed with the creature and that there are even drawings of strange creatures that traveled with the Native Americans. When the Europeans came they found these odd drawings, but no signs of the Wolf Ape.

There is a story that legendary photographer Ansel Adams was taking pictures in Yosemite one day when a pack of Wolf Apes came upon him while he was in his tent and he had to stay there for safety.

An even more peculiar story is that of a Wolf Ape entering a single room school house one day and terrorizing the students and teacher. The children piled up their desks together and climbed up to the safety of the rafters while the teacher was able to lock himself into a closet. The Wolf Ape tore through the children’s desks to get at their lunches. Finally after getting it’s fill it left.

Anyone else on this site amazed at how your modest interest in bigfoot has evolved into an obsession? And an acceptance of even more cryptids, like werewolves? This slope we’re standing on sure is slippery lolz ?

Jack A: lol your right on with your comment. Don’t drink (twice/year), smoke or gamble but damn, I’m all tied up with this BF, DogMan and what other crytoids that are running the streets/woods when everyone else is a sleep! lol Your so right Jack!

Fresno might just be the Capitol of the crytoids of California. They got a bit of everything there. It’s also a very tough city to live in crime wise. Paranormal Centeral is a podcast/show that’s on YouTube that talks about all that’s happening in the surrounding Fresno and the rest of the nation. Very popular. Of course you know Wes is the man so there is nothing to worry about there! Three young brothers were playing in what looked like an ex construction site area and when the oldest who had a camcorder with him and was filming their good time, said it was time to go the middle child stay and the other two went home. When the father went to get his awol young son he found him at the site all ripped up. There were very large wolf type prints found around the area. Very sad. There is a video of this story, well done video, that goes into more detail of what happen on YouTube. It also has a couple other DogMan encounters that happen in CA too.

actually , I think the teacher was at more risk-if it got into a schoolhouse-it could break down the door to a closet. the kids were up high. easier to break the door down than jump up to rafters. Apparently they weren’t interested in eating the kids or teacher, just wanted the lunches. if werewolves were abundant in that area back then, it may have been wiser to arm the teacher. crazy. i’m getting a picture of laura ingalls and her little sister running down the hill and her little sister falling and becoming lunch . Little house on the prairie days musta really sucked. churn your own butter, shoe your own horses, beat your clothes off a rock in the stream, kids walking a mile through the woods to get to school and oh yeah.. watch out for sasquatch and dogmen. doesn’t sound like any kinda fun at all and a whole lotta stress.
