Watch: A fisheries officer has a Sasquatch encounter

I want to thank Andrew for sending this to me. Andrew writes “Hey Wes….a fisheries officer in my neck of the woods saw one..”

Fisheries officer Luke Swan Jr. told CTV News he was out in his boat patrolling Ahousaht territory near Tofino last Wednesday when he saw a mysterious figure crouching on the coast. “Something really big stood up, probably between eight or nine feet,” he said. “The first thing I had in my mind was to get off the beach. I pushed off as fast as I could and got to deep water.”

Wow, that was brave of the fisheries officer to talk about! Good for him. Good to see someone being honest in what they saw. I just hope he gets to keep his job!

So, our Canadian members may be anle to answer this: is your govt. more tolerant of employees such as the fisheries gentleman in the report above, that tell of their encounters, than the US govt. seems to be toward their employees?

Speaking as a former Canadian, I’d say he’ll be OK – He’s “First Nations” or “Native Canadian” so the PTB up there won’t try to silence him – bad publicity – they’ll probably come up with the excuse “It’s just part of their culture.”.

Gotta agree with your Steven. When something is ingrained into your culture, as Sasquatch is for most if not all First Nation people, there is more willingness to talk about it. What DOES amaze me, however, is that he was willing to talk about it to a news station… Good on him, I say!

Thanks Andrew and Wes for passing this on!

Hey Steve, have you watched the video that comes up after this one is through? It’s the video of two state workers in Seattle, filming what they believe is a Sasquatch from across the field from where they are. If you have I was curious to see what you thought of how the creature walks. How it walks reminds me of exactly how the creature in the Freeman video walked, very very similar.

Not sure it’s a question of tolerance at all, people are people and at some point they talk. While I can’t speak for Canada, when you ( I, we, they generally speaking) hear of these reports and think that it’s all B.S. consider this; law enforcement has been mentioned in reports either as have being called or having personal eye witness encounters or otherwise drawn into these types of reports 1,069 times, people working non-law enforcement related positions or other governmental agencies 700 times, and people within the military or while in the military service reported their encounters 127 times and they did so either anonymously or by personal name.

This is fantastic! Well, maybe just fantastic for us. But I suspect the witness is going to run into problems with his job and so on. I sure hope not though. God bless him for being brave and speaking up. And God bless the news station that actually aired this!

This is super cool everybody! Speaking as a BC resident and somebody who has spent alotta time exploring that area…as a fishing guide. That area is absolutely covered in vast tracts of old growth rainforest……black bears everywhere and I always felt Sasquatch were present. Endless abundance of food and limited encroachment of man! Thanks for posting Wes.

As a Canadian resident, I can assure you that our government people are way too busy passing each other enveloppes filled with money to shut each other up about what they do that they are not supposed to do… Sasquatch is the last of their concerns! Honestly!
