Bummed out this morning, we had to turn around last night. A major storm hit Mt. St. Helen’s and it was a downpour. We were ready for the rain but the trail to Ape Canyon had become a small stream.
We decided to turn around because it would have been almost impossible to hike into Ape Canyon with all of our gear on. We are planning another trip as soon as the weather permits. I apologize everyone I spent several days planning this and moving things around on the show so that this trip could take place. I really wanted to bring you guys back some footage.
As soon as the weather permits we will head back up.

Thank goodness! I thought the weather was too rough for this! I live near Mt Rainier and the weather is awful and seems to be coming from the southwest. It will be safer after the storm passes. Good choice!
