Tonight’s Show: Stranger In The Woods

Spoke to Doug and he has agreed to come on the show. Over 40 years ago Doug was coming home from a friends house in Virginia. He decided to take a short cut through the woods. Doug said “It was about 3am and I was walking down a trail when I saw what I thought was a man in the bushes. I stopped and acknowledged I saw him. This “person” stood up out of the bushes next to the trail. He was a big guy but not out of the range for a human….maybe 6’5.

I thought he was up to no good so I started talking to him and lit a cigarette. I had a pistol on me so I was not scared. The strange part is he never said anything back to me. He had long hair like how everyone did in the 70’s and 80’s. I stood there talking to this thing and it stood there like a statue. It never moved and did not make a sound.

Once I realized he probably wasn’t going to rob me I walked past this person. The glow of the cigarette lit up his face as I walked past him. It was than I realized it was not a person. The night did not end there…..”

    The way this is written I laughed out! It sounds like something in the movies say abbott and costello meet the wolfman. As he walks past he takes a drag on his cigarette and it lights up this things face.Well was it wearing pants?No pants is a big give away.Sorry guy. It must have been horrifying.Standing by Wes roll that beautiful squatch footage.

    I’ve heard Doug’s encounter over at Bigfoot’s Wilderness.

    Man, he gives great details and you can zoom in on Google Maps and see exactly where he was.
    Cannot wait to listen to him again!

    Can someone please rename the Washington team “Big Red” and have a Sasquatch as the logo/mascot?
    I even sketched the idea quick…I think they’re really missing the boat as far as popularity, merchandise as well as team inspiration….it’s just fitting isn’t it? Please help get the word out before it’s too late
