Upcoming Show: Something Happened To Me While In Nova Scotia

A listener writes “Hello Wes, I saw a post on the blog of someone having what they believe was an encounter while hiking the trails in Mount Uniacke, Nova Scotia. I have been searching the internet frantically and there seems to be a lot of encounters in Nova Scotia.

I know they are in every state except Hawaii and they are in every province from Ontario west. If they are in Ontario, they could easily move into Quebec. They are in Maine and could easily move into New Brunswick. New Brunswick is the most forested province. But I never ever would believe they were in Nova Scotia. Not in a million years.

Something happened to me while bear hunting in Nova Scotia back in 2003 that I could never fully explain and this is really freaking me out because if they are in Nova Scotia, it explains a lot. If that is what came in on me that night, then I had them around me, I saw one sit and watch me, while another robbed my canoe. But never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined that’s what I ran into.

Had that happened to me here in Alberta, I would swear I ran into them. But being that it happened in Nova Scotia, then it had to be something else because they aren’t in Nova Scotia.

I know you have a lot of people contact you that don’t come on the air so if you have heard any encounters in Nova Scotia, or Eastern Canada, I’d really be like to hear your thoughts on them being there and maybe tell you what happened.”

It was either Leif Erickson or someone in his party of Vikings in circa 1000 AD that briefly described coming across these creatures, it can be found on the internet. I imagine during that time period they were possibly more numerous than they currently are. However European diseases may have taken down the population the same as it did to Natives. They now may have developed immunities to these diseases and numbers are again going up.
