The witness stated, “I’ve been a hunter my entire life. Back in 2017, while hunting in Mississippi, we encountered a large figure that I couldn’t identify.

At first, I thought it was a bear but it wasn’t. It was standing upright like a man and holding a branch, and it was far too big to be human. It had hands and long arms, and the way it looked reminded me of a gorilla.

I pulled my rifle off my shoulder and chambered a round. The moment I did, the creature took off. I’ve never seen anything move that fast or cover ground the way it did. It shook us up enough that we decided to leave the area.

As we were heading out, something began pacing us. We never actually saw it, but it had to be another one of those creatures. There’s no way the one we saw earlier could have circled around that quickly to keep up with us.

One thing that stood out was what we encountered on the way out we came across a group of deer bedded down. They didn’t react to us at all, almost as if they didn’t care we were there. Instead, they seemed focused on whatever was pacing us. It was strange.

We lost that hunting lease in 2018.

Then in 2026, in a completely different area, we were setting crawdad traps in a drained lake when we had another encounter. A lot of unusual things happened during that experience things I still can’t explain.”
