Upcoming Show: A Strange Night

Lon writes “On September 30th, 2020 I was camping at Pleasant Valley Campground in Bishop, California. I went to bed at around 0100 hours after a night of some wobbly pops and whiskey. I fell asleep fast and slept soundly throughout the night until about 0400 or so when I had to go to the bathroom. I opened my eyes and saw that my tent had been covered in branches.”

    Ditto to that! ????

Didn’t watch the whole thing because it seemed cheesy, contrived. We’ll see.

If Wes vetted him, I can at least give it a listen on his podcast.

Hey guys, I know the music is cheesy. That doesn’t change the fact of what happened. If I were hoaxing this, why would I go through the trouble of pointing out the fact some of the branches were cut. If I wanted this to be a bigfoot thing, I would omit certain facts. I don’t know what happened, Im not looking for fame, I just want answers. Going back to the music, I added it for flare, hindsight, it’s a tad much and I can see why you feel that way. If you have any questions feel free to ask me I have nothing to hide. Thanks for your time.

Good answer, Lon. Keyboard critics can be pretty harsh. I didn’t love the music either – bigfoot encounters don’t need flare added – but I do believe your story, thanks for sharing it. I’ve been to that area so I found it extra interesting.

Lon – music def makes it seem like a production, but I can imagine how this scenario would shake you up. Aside from the music – the cut branches are really a mystery as are the way you describe the footprints. Seems less like sasquatch behavior and more like a person trying to freak you out which is also dangerous. I kept thinking about Cheryl Strayed’s hike on the Pacific Coast Trail and the people she encountered who were up to no good.

As I said, I’ll have to wait till Wes has him on. So, Lon, no offense.

Sometimes I think if people have an opinion they’re jumped on worse than people who are hoaxers. I never said this was hoaxed. You know folks, Wes just wants people to think. I pay for this site. Seems like an occasional opinion wouldn’t be treated so harshly.
