Tracks found in a swamp near the Douglas State Forest

Interesting report from Worcester County, MA. “On May 8th 2016 I was riding my four wheeler over on Fort Hill road in Oxford Webster area in the woods. I just hanging out by a swamp clearing a trail and had a weird feeling where something was watching me. My back was turned to the swamp and I heard a small splash coming across the swamp and didn’t really think nothing of it. About thirty seconds later I heard another one and that one caught my attention but I didn’t see it. It was bigger and it was in the middle of the swamp. So I dialed my buddy and as he picked up the phone, a rock about the size of a football, if not bigger was thrown about three quarters across the swamp and I saw this one hit the water.

I took pics of where the rocks are missing and what I believe are foot prints. you can see where he walked around in a circle. I have video of the area also.”

Ummm, sounds like it’d be a good witness encounter story. I find it interesting that almost everyone says they had that weird feeling something was watching them. When I clicked on the full report and looked at the pictures, you can see the dermal ridges a lot more because the photos are larger. Thanks Wes.

Yeah, that “feeling” is something Gavin Debecker writes extensively about in his book called “the gift of fear”.

It’s real and we’re born with it. Sadly, most tune it out and often get assaulted by mostly, other humans, but it applies to being in the presence of dangerous animals.

It’s common to call it intuition but many think it’s crap. They are wrong.

If those are dermal ridges, they’re not on homo sapien feet. Those ridges belong to another critter. Yikes! Very cool
