Tonight’s Show: Unknown Tracks

Tonight I will be chatting with John, His encounter took place in South Carolina John writes “I have a story I’ve thought about sharing, but I’d like to have a little anonymity, yet maintaining credibility, if I do…. it was about 3 years ago on a land clearing project. I am a business owner and that’s the reason for the anonymity. I don’t really want to have the story connected to my business per se.

I distinctly saw it move, striking three poses in 10 seconds. I believe I have a picture of a footprint as well.

If this is something you’d like to discuss, let’s figure it out. Thank you very much.”

Chadwick writes “Hi Wes, my name is Chadwick, and for the past ten years or so my wife Sondra and I have been paranormal investigators. We live on the chestnut ridge of south west Pennsylvania. We are into all aspects of the paranormal, but bigfoot is my favorite. So on March 26th of 2021, I took a personal day from work to go out and look for bigfoot. I went to a place in the mountains around here that is popular for fly fishing, and for strange occurrences.

I got there and hiked up a rather large, and very steep pipeline to explore the woods at the top. As I was up there i kept hearing a whistle with a buzz of electricity in it. I tried to find out where it was coming from, but after awhile with no luck I decided to leave. I was driving down the dirt road to get to the main road, and happened to look over towards the creek. I saw a large sand bank, and thought to myself that would be a good place to look for tracks, not expecting to find anything, I went over. When I got there, I saw the strangest thing I’ve ever seen. Strange three toed tracks everywhere. There were two track ways coming up out of the creek, up the bank, and all over the sand bank. Totally amazing, blew my mind.

The tracks were 14″ long, and 6” wide. I was blowing up Sondras phone, because she was at work and I wanted her to see these. She met me there when she got off work, and we started to cast some of the tracks. While we were doing this I heard a car door slam, when I looked up, I saw a game warden heading straight for us. He walked over and started kicking around and covering up the tracks! I actually screamed at him to stop, he did and just stared at me, and he looked pissed. So I asked him if he has ever seen anything like this before, he looked around, looked at me and said “Yeah, you’ll have that” turned around got in his truck, and left. Completely blew my mind! We got five good casts, three were to thin and fell apart when we took them out. We have had many other strange occurrences in this and other places around the ridge. We started a YouTube channel called Chestnut Ridge Paranormal where we post our evidence. I wanted to end by saying, I love the show Wes. I’ve been a member for years, and can’t get enough! Thanks brother, keep up the good fight!”

To me the light might well be a Pennsylvania -Cross orb weaver spider- up closer near the camera, on a web gently waving in the air, with the IR light from the camera reflecting off its body.

John sounded pretty believable in the episode. Although I don’t believe the orb wasn’t anything more than a spider that could’ve fooled anyone, the more I thought about it I came up with another possibility for the odd computer sound in the background.

It seems to me that in thinking about how some or most of us as witnesses are ridiculed for sharing an experience, it also seems part of the agenda for who or what is perpetuating or creating some of these events to also discredit people in some way.

It would be just as easy for the witness to add in the background sound (for a hoax), but what I failed to realize right away is that it would be just as easy for an unknown outside source (either human, alien, demonic) to be capable to interfere with the audio to mislead or help convince the witness immediately even more, (while also potentially discredit them later to other sightings at a different time).

I’ve said it myself… The darkest secrets can indeed be buried under more layers of our own first assumptions, ones that help us feel better about the situation, so we can move onto the next thing and sleep better at night.

I would like to apologize to John if he felt like I was calling him out, I kind of was, but that’s just me and the thought of people hoaxing really bothers me, so I reacted. I don’t like for either myself or other people getting fooled so I stand up when I can with what I have… Which combined is a lifetime of doing artwork, taxidermy, machining and mechanical work (where I have to know or figure out in detail exactly what I’m looking at mechanically or artistically and how something visual might be perceived to others).

But the fact also is, I’m still learning how my words or what I say might be interpreted or immediately comprehended by others. I don’t want John to be discouraged from sharing in the future, so like I said, the interpretation of a witness encounter is still up to each person.

Sometimes we (and I) have to remember how deep these real and mysterious rabbit holes might actually be. Just because the trail ends it doesn’t necessarily mean it simply stops there.

No matter how bizarre your story might seem, I still encourage everyone to share their truth.
      God bless
