Tonight I will be chatting with Mark and Teresa. Mark writes “First I have had one Bigfoot encounter. It was 1977 or 1978 in late summer. I’ve never been a big hunter but I’ve always loved walking in the woods and creeks looking for rocks and crystals. I was less than a half a mile from my house walking with my two dogs up a small creek in a highly dissected terrain.

Molly was the smartest dog I’ve ever known, half Australian sheep dog and half collie. Her son Smokie was more than twice her weight and dumb as a rock. All of a sudden both dogs froze and started growling very low. Their tails were between their legs. I tried to walk around Molly. She would not let me. I heard bipedal steps in front of me. I looked up and saw the head and shoulders of something very hairy and very large in the next gully leading down to the creek. It looked at me. I thought that it would be better to walk away, my dogs stayed behind me and even smoky didn’t get stupid and charge. Molly would not let him. I felt safe with them at my back at the time. I just felt it was best to walk away, but when I got home that night and went to sleep I had nightmares. I felt like there was a group of these things watching the house, and every night for weeks I closed every curtain and every blind and every window and mom said what’s up. I never explained it to her, but after about a month, it was over and I never saw anything again. I also went back to where I had seen the thing the next day and when I went to the gully where the thing had been standing, it had to have been over 8 feet tall for me to see shoulders and Head.

Since you also print other things. I have various events that have happened to me. I’ve seen multiple unidentified flying objects. I don’t know what they are but I was a Boy Scout. We used to camp in the mountains in South Carolina, actually they are more foothills. We camped out on several trails that looked out over the valley where the nuclear plant was. There was never a night that there weren’t multiple lights over the power plant. We would laugh and ignore it. My brother worked at the plant as a security guard, and they were aware of the lights. but they never identified them.”

Teresa writes “Well, this has been years ago, probably about thirty. Two friends and I were going to Paducah to bail one of their husbands out of jail- long story, but I digress. They were going to take turns driving, I couldn’t drive stick so I was just along for the ride. At that young age (around 21, 22), safety wasn’t a big concern, so I was loose in the backseat, leaning up between the front seats. We were all talking and laughing. We were on what looked like an interstate, as it had four lanes, divided by a median, with a high speed limit. But it was late, we had no GPS at the time, and we ended up going the wrong way- toward Virginia/West Virginia, not so much Kentucky. We had a lull in conversation. As we went around a curve, there was this. . . thing standing there on the side of the road. Our side, facing us. It was really tall, covered in hair, and in a stance that looked like it was peeing. I couldn’t see genitalia or urine, but it had its hands held in a way that looked like how a man stands to pee. My mind was looking at it, trying to figure out what it was seeing. And it was a delayed reaction, but my friend driving screamed and said, “WHAT WAS THAT?!” And then I screamed and said, “I DON’T KNOW!!! WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!?” And the girl in the front passenger seat didn’t even see anything. She was screaming asking us what was wrong. She wanted to get off at the next exit and go back to see what she missed. We said no way. And the weirdest part, aside from the whole thing, is that we never discussed it or brought it up again in the years following. We have lost touch sense then, but I didn’t mention it to anyone for over 25 years. Someone asked us during a dinner party what the weirdest thing we had ever seen before. I told them. They all just looked at me.”
