A listener writes “I bought a home in Ohio in December 2018. While moving in I was inside the back of a large uhaul truck while my wife and daughter were carrying in the last of the boxes left in the truck.
It was about 1:30 am we were almost completely done unloading the truck when something let out a loud growl. The growl was loud enough for me to hear it in the back of the truck and draw my immediate attention. My daughter ran into the house and my wife I think wife was too scared to run.she questions me about what that was I told her I had no idea. We decided to finish unloading the truck th next day. Later that night while everyone was sleeping I took my English bulldog out to use the bathroom and smoke a cigarette. It was about 3:30 am. The growl happens again. My dog looks up and heads to the door. I thought good idea so we in.
Over the next few weeks my wife would text me at work saying that the house was haunted. I work nights. She would say that she could hear voices in our bedroom. She would tell me before I would go to work that our dogs would act strange and they would alert and bark a bit, but not really loud like when someone knocks at the door. They would also stare at one of our windows in the living room. When she would go outside to smoke she would get scared and felt like she was being watched. I told her that I would hurry home after work and check out the property around the house from now on.
While one morning checking out the property I found what I call a hide. I showed my wife and she told me go buy a chainsaw and get rid of it. While out there she asked me if the Christmas tree lights worked that were hung up around the pathway around the property. I said I couldn’t get them to work but I will get new ones as soon as possible.
About a week or so afrer I cut out the hide she woke me up drugged me outside and showed me a spot it looks like someone was putting up branches making another hide.
From the time I heard the growl I had made smart remarks to her about big foot and she should do some research into it. She just laughed and I thought basically blew me off.
She took my advice and did some research. She searched for the growl sound and started listening to your show a couple of times. I was a listener before we moved and would watch bigfoot documentaries. She always made fun of me and so would my kids. The more she searched for the growl the more she started to believe in the possibility of their existence.
In late January she woke me up terrified. She was do the dishes looking out the window and she told me she just saw three creatures. I got up not fully clothed and ran outside to look. I didn’t see anything or hear anything. I cam back inside and she started describing them to me. Since then she has been researching the subject.
My daughter made friends with the previous owners daughter through school. One night she spent the night at our house. I asked the question you recommended. Have you ever had anything strange happen on this property or see anything strange. She said yes but didn’t want to say. I told her that I know there are sasquatch on the property. Her mouth dropped open and turned pale white. She described her encounter and described the creature to me.
A week or so after learning about that encounter I was coming home an hour earlier than normal because I had been called in to work a twelve hour shift to cover another employee’s shift. It was still dark outside when I got home. I was really tired cause I went to bed late and went to work early. I had promised my wife that I would walk around the property when I came home every day. I knew she was still sleeping and the kids hadn’t got up to go to school yet. So as most husbands I figured I would just skip my inspection and just say I did my check and didn’t see anything. So I come into the house take off my work boots and go to the kitchen to see if I could find something to eat right quick. I’m standing in front of the sink washing my hands and naturally I looked out the window. I was scanning the back yard which is wooded but there’s no leaves on the trees so l can see quite a ways into the woods. I see this big brown mass. I’m looking and looking at it but can’t figure it out. So i start talking to myself Mike your tired you have sasquatch on the brain cause I was listening to your show at work and finished an episode right before I pulled into the driveway. I swear I could see a face, shoulders, and an arm. It was the same color my wife told me when she saw the three sasquatch a month or so ago. I didn’t feel fear like most people talk about. I think because I talked myself out of seeing what I was looking at. After about two minutes of looking at this thing I heard one of my kids come out of a room upstairs. That snaped my attention to the thought that I better get to the bathroom before one of my girls get to it. In a household of three daughters and a wife bathrooms are almost always in use for whatever reason. So I decided I go to the bathroom and come back and look again if everything looked the same when I got back then it’s my imagination at work. I came back and it didn’t look the same. The big brown mass was gone. If I wasn’t so tired (lazy). I would have walked within feet of where this thing was hunched/ crouched down.
Since then my wife has heard walking outside our house but no hitting on it. I have heard what sounds like maybe small rocks hitting our deck out back. I have set up a high power solar light one my bedroom wall outside. My wife has told me that it has came on quite a few times and that the dogs stair at the windows or some of them will bark whimper or go under the bed.”

I’m with Denise. I’m surprised too that he didn’t see one closer to the house when he came home early. I hope they don’t start getting bolder but it sounds like they will. Watch the dogs!

I hope Mike comes on the show. I’m glad that the creatures haven’t harmed them or threatened them. I’m impressed at how well Mike and his family are coping with their new situation. I wish them much luck!

It’s very apparent that this is the reason the previous people sold the home as the problems started with the Sasquatch before they ever even got the moving truck unloaded. I think this should’ve been disclosed and think this is a pretty rotten deal for these people. Wes needs to get these people on the show and I would like to know if they disclose prior to purchase .

From what we’ve learned on SC he needs to do several things more….but mainly, hook up those cheap trail cams and situate on the home & in the trees. Sometimes they don’t give a hoot about sentry lights. They just stand there, in the bright light. Man. Are these things getting bold or what? I’d also get a jar of olive oil & walk around the house praying out loud, & annoint each window shash & dorway. I’d be bold too. With Jesus and the angels at my side! If he can he should go back & listen to the brothers episode again. Remember what the lady told them? She said speak to them, tell them they can’t come in the yard, etc. Take care. I’d set up a chain link fence with razor wire on top and a massive electric charge going through it…Let the Wood Boogers try grabbing that fence and see their expression change real quick!! I can’t believe no one ever thought about that idea yet !

If the electric fence doesn’t jolt them…clear cut the surrounding woodlands and hope that does the trick.

I wish the gentleman and his family all the best. So far it sounds as if the Bigfoot aren’t the meanest around on his property. That’s good! Christmas lights throw off their night vision. They really don’t like them. I don’t think they are demonic so I’d save the olive oil for cooking and not around the doors and windows. One thing that seems to work is going to the edge of your property, where the lawn meets the woods and talk to them. Tell them that you won’t bother them in their area and they don’t bother you, your family and your home.. Be friends. It’s really worked at times. You have nothing to lose. If it ever gets bad then you go into their woods where they have some structures and chainsaw something down. Urinate where the grass meets the woods so they know where the line is! Burn the area too. That was something Bob Garrison(Bob in the big thicket in TX) would say to do. Wes knows what I’m talking about, I hope! lol All the best to you Mike.

This sounds very scary and dangerous. I was actually shaking reading this. Have you contacted the police? Was this on the disclosure form when you bought the house? Probably not, no one would have bought the house if anything like that was disclosed. These things sound very brazen and unafraid. If at all possible, please get out of there. Not good that a wife/mother and three daughters are there alone at night. You need help. Everyone, please pray for this family. Also, please don’t go outside alone looking around and watch your dogs.

One thing I don’t understand. Why would the previous owners let their daughter stay overnight if they knew there were sasquash on the property? Why would the girl even want to stay overnight if she previously saw one? Not judging, just wondering.

@Connie ~ I thought about that too. And why wouldn’t her parents (the kid spending the night) warn the new home owners. At least say to make sure they don’t go into the woods. When we were little, the first thing we’d do is run off into the woods!

I’m a little on the fence on if disclosing you had Sasquatch around would deter buyers…..heck, I actually feel it would help sell a house. You know how many goof balls would come out thinking “I’ll put my gifting stump here and hang the game cams here….. “???

Mike, if you read this, buy a few Jason Masks and put them around the inside of your house where it looks like they are looking out the windows from a short distance. I hope this helps. Stay strong and remember that this property belongs to you. I know it’s easier said than done brother but stay strong and they will stay away.
