Tonight’s Show: Living Off Grid

Tonight I will be speaking to Wyman. Wyman lives off grid near the Columbia River in Washington State.

Wyman says “In 2015 these things showed up on my property. I didn’t know what they were. So much has happened, they killed my dog and my goat.I have seen the creatures a few times. There is a gray one that seems to hang around. There is a black one I have seen and he only has one eye. It is strange, this whole situation is strange. They throw rocks at my home. I really do not understand why they are here. I feel like they are trying to run me off of my property.”

I think sasquatches kill dogs because they know that’s something that will get to us humans. Here they are living out there in the wilderness where every animals that can be caught is a food source–and here we humans are, keeping animals for pets, feeding them, playing with them, housing them…it might seem a little bourgeois to a creature that lives hand-to-mouth. These creatures know that some people value dogs as pets and killing and dismembering them (not necessarily to eat) is going to make a serious impact on a homeowner. So maybe the author is correct in assuming that these acts are ways to intimidate him into leaving the property.

    Sounds like a good episode!
At night when I hear my neighbors pit bulls bark that “strange bark” about 2:30 -3 am….I think “oh guys don’t make too much of a fuss” ?

Yeah I agree with FS and Wes, I’m pretty easy to get along with but if you want me to hate you mess with my dog or really any dog. And Denise you are right the dogs that don’t bark and hide under the house or stay inside either the house or their doghouse usually survive.

I am. I’ve ridden my bike all over the gorge and in the vicinity of mt. Adams. After listening to the show, I know approximately where he lives. In my opinion, there are more and more sightings in his area. I’m not sure what to think about it. I feel for him for sure. I still go camping around my Adams and I’ve had many restless nights. You can hear lots of unusual noises and they are not shy about trying to move you out of an area. It gives me the heebees just thinking about it…. yikes.
