A listener writes “My parents live in Western Pa along a pipe line that slices through a very large forested area. I had George and a fellow researcher up last summer for an overnight trip to check out a bunch of structures and walk the property. The primary reason for this email was because of a couple strange lights and your thoughts on a possible translucent animal?

1. Two red lights that showed up highlighting our pipe line. We have never seen these lights before or since and thought they were strange. Also, one of the photos has an Orb associated?
2. This is a strange white/translucent animal moving quickly across the camera. It looks like you can see a skull, brain, eyes, spine, small legs, and a chest cavity to me. What are your thoughts? I have included comparison photo of two deer in the same camera area.

The white, wispy figure … does anyone think that animals have souls and that what happens to people when they die can also happen to animals? Does a residual part of them stay behind and continue to act out its last movements before death? Just a thought. Thanks for sharing this.

What was the weather doing the night the white image was captured? Just a thought, but could it be a plastic bag blowing by? Those things show up everywhere.

Those are all very strange. I finally saw the Orb (which is what it looks like to me, not a ball of light). The red vapor seems to grow with time. And that white thing looks like an arm. Weird. Thx Wes.

The white thing could be blurry because of the movement, but I do see what looks to be two ears or horns pointing towards the back of it’s neck or back. So, maybe a rabbit or do you have goats?

Oh, wow! The red lights are on two separate nights, two nights apart and the times were within 48 minutes of each other, each night. Interesting that it’s not a one-time thing and that they occurred around the same time of night both times.

I understand it’s a pipeline so is there a public outlet close by?
I wasn’t clear on if the witness has seen them in person also!?
BUT…..the white flash is interesting…..so is the area by the looks of it! In many active areas, I get weird white looking ‘animals’ seemingly ‘flying’ or ‘dashing’ through pics.
Wonder if family knows of any Native American presence being there at one time?

The creature looks to have wings that are darker and hard to see (right below the ‘shoulder area’).

Whatever the white thing is appears to be the same size or larger than the deer sitting in the comparison photo above it. It is also casting a shadow which obviously means it is not transparent, not gases or smoke or mist. Even if there is some motion blur, the shadow is still consistent with the size of the object. The red lights are baffling. Looks like the glow of tail lights from a car, although I’m not implying that is what I think it is. Great pics!

The red light is interesting. It covers a wide area, which is to wide for brake light illumination. I just can’t tell if it’s coming from the sky or behind the trees. The more I look at the lights though- it’s like the red light is coming from up in the trees. Meh. Hard to tell. I’m leaning toward thinking the white thing is a plastic bag or something. Great photos.

To me, the white thing looks like a person’s leg. A blurry jeans’ pant leg and a tennis shoe captured as the person either was either running or was moving their leg in front of the trail cam.

I think the “white orb/creature” is a squirrel close to the camera. Head on the right, tail on the left. It’d have to be leaning to the opposite side (like it was falling) due to its mostly lighter colored underbelly. Good capture though, whatever it was.

I’m guessing the white object is an insect flying past the cameras lens.
The orb seems to be behind those weeds. Maybe the orb is casting a red coloring
within the wooded area in question?

The “white” creature to me looks like a Rabbit running from the right to our left. I would theorise it was just reflecting light but it appears you can see the skull and bones etc making it appear translucent. It also seems to have a shadow, so all in all a very interesting photo!
The red lights/mist, could it be brake lights on fog? From what I have learnt about orbs is they are bright but do not illuminate the surroundings, like a lamp would, but we know so little about them its possible they can at times.
I realise my comment is total conjecture and useless but I had to let u know my thoughts! Thank you for sharing these fascinating photos,.

Do you have flying squirrels? Looks like it could be the spread ‘wings’ of a flying squirrel, although it’s hard to place which is head or tail if it is.

Interesting red glow images. Could be 4wheeler tail/brake lights if the vehicle was backed in behind the trail cam. Taken two days apart from one another also and apparently closer or more intense on the first night it was captured. It is curious
