This Weekend: Remembering John Bindernagel

I am canceling the show tonight. I am switching gears this weekend the show will be a tribute to my friend John A. Bindernagel or as I called him “doc.” John meant so much to so many people.

He had been really sick for the last couple of years but didn’t want it public. I spoke to John a week or two ago and he was trying to tell me goodbye but I wouldn’t hear it, I told him he was going to beat the cancer and out live me….sad day…John is the best man I know, he was a hero of mine, someone I strive to be like but no one can be John, there was only one. After John and I would talk on the phone he would always say “bye for now” I asked him why he said that and he said “because it’s never really goodbye Wes” Bye for now my friend, I miss you and I will see you again!

I will be having some special guests that will be coming on to talk about what John meant to them and we will be sharing stories about him you have not heard before. It is a weekend of remembering our friend.

So sorry to hear Wes, I’m glad you both found a good friend in each other. I didn’t know Mr. Bindernagel but what I do know and have learned from listening to him is that he was someone we could all learn from and should emulate. Much respect to the Doc is due and my condolences to you and all who were lucky enough to know him. R.I.P. John A. Bindernagel

A more fitting thing could not be done, Wes.

I am looking forward to the tribute. May it be of comfort to you that you are able to this for John in his memory.

I wish that I was visiting up in WA and we could go out and raise a glass to John. Take care my friend.

    I agree with Steven.
I am happy your going to do a show and surprised a little. I feel that most of your listeners would understand if you take some time off. You are a trooper Wes sorry again for your loss, but like you said you’ll see him again.

(New Jersey) So Sad. I never had the pleasure of meeting Doctor Bindernagel. However, I always enjoyed listening to his presentations and interviews. He was admired and respected by so many. A gentleman and a scholar. Wes, this is a wonderful tribute to the doctor. May he rest in peace.

Ahhhh such a honest and giant that we lost in our quest to figure out this cryptid we all are so interested in, dr bindernagel will be missed as he was all of our hero of the real truth about bigfoot. I wish his family the best and I will miss him dearly. Rest in peace my friend. Peace
