This creature is about 9 feet in height

I moved to this location in New Hampshire in 2001. I have had several sightings over the past few years. Usually from my living room while I am watching television. I know this sounds weird. But, I am serious. My couch sits facing my picture window. Beyond the picture window, there is a small creek and an empty wooded lot. I have seen deer, bear, turkey, racoons, moose and fox on my property. It is in a part of Gilford called Gunstock Acres. It usually happens in the late evening on a dark summer night. No paticular date or time. From the ground to the top of the window has got to be at least 10 feet tall. This creature is about 9 feet in height. Dark deep brownish long hair, and walks upright, similar to a human. I have seen it go one direction, then go past the window in the other direction several minutes later, or it just walks away until the next time I see it, which has been about once a year. I have seen it looking more like a shadow when my lights in the house are on. I am usually caught off guard, and am startled when I’ve seen it, in disbelief, but there is no other explanation.

Last summer I happened to tell my husband and family that I saw Bigfoot again last night and my oldest son said he seen it the night before, passing by the window, and it looked right in at him as it was passing by. He described the same creature except that he saw the face. And he swears it is a Bigfoot too. He was creeped out about it, and I think he still is. My son is in his 20’s.

This is part of the Great North Woods, with lakes, mountains, rivers & caves. Plenty of places to hide. I have heard strange grunting noises, tree limbs breaking, screams, and walking sounds through my wooded lot. I refuse to go outside after I have seen it, and turn all the outside lights on, until I forget about it again. We have seen some huge prints out there in the winter going around the house, but they were unidentifiable. Due to the large amounts of snow we have gotten during storms, the tracks get filled in.
I am spooked by it, but it hasn’t done anything to any of us, except look in the window at us.

I know what I have seen, and I haven’t told many people as they would think we were crazy. So, my family and I would like to know what this creature is, and is it possible that it is a Bigfoot? We beleive it is, as we know what we have seen. It can’t be a black bear, as this is too tall, and walks a distance on two legs and like a human, so it couldn’t be a moose either. It is built like a really large broad-shouldered man, and muscular, but covered in hair. My son said that the face is hairy also, but the skin on the face is a lighter color than the rest of the body.

    Wow, the ultimate “armchair” research site!! To be able to sit and look out your picture window and see one a couple of times a year is very cool. You are very lucky although you may not feel that way right now. The fact that it just looks as it passes by is a good thing ( no beating on the house or growls). Thanks for reporting it. I’d like to hear more about ” strange grunting noises, tree limbs breaking, screams, and walking sounds”!

    It’s ok Trent, BFRO has some value despite who the leader is. If you took notice, this report was followed up by Chris Noel. He is probably one of the best researchers today. He marches to the beat of his own drum and that’s why I like him. He doesn’t care what peoples opinions are cause their not out there getting wet, cold and scared. He puts in more hours in the woods than anyone I know. He is the epitome of a Sasquatch researcher. You’ll find him on YouTube under Impossible Visits

    Wow again . This is so cool . I know gun stock I ski that mountain and now we have the one in litchfield NH this is too good . I need to get out there and do some research. I live close by . Any body want to go with me

    I believe the BFRO reported this incident as one bear sitting on the shoulders of another bear and walking on two legs past a homeowners window just to get a rise out of the humans inside of the house. It also has been reported that the two bears are retired circus bears that currently live in the area, this could explain their gymnastic abilities. More at 11.

    What a great encounter and description of the creature, I wonder if they are aware of the potential danger, and if so are they being careful? I know the creature has not threatened in any way but ere on the side of caution that’s my thoughts anyway. I hope they keep in contact and maybe come on the show to tell their entire story.

    Jeffery H. that is not right. I just read the report and I know the guy who investigated it. His name is Christopher Noel and he is a somewhat known investigator in his on right. He has written several books, several of which were Bigfoot related. He also has a YouTube page: ImpossibleVisits with many very good videos. He is(was?) a college professor in NH, so is very well educated. I know he has one very good thermal image of a Sasquatch hiding behind a wood pile and watching a number of people sitting around a campfire talking. Now it is possible that someone else from the BDEO may have made that conjecture, but Chris sure didn’t.

      I’m sorry, but do you not realize he was being very sarcastic?
      Holy $h¡t! Two retired circus bears deliberately standing on each other to “get a rise” from the homeowners?
      I really am sorry… not trying to be mean, but I needed a good laugh!

    Btw, Robert, I know I’m kinda far away (New Jersey) but I am on the east coast and I’d drive up to New Hampshire for an expedition into the unknown with the promise of a potential sighting and encounter. I don’t get much squatch action here in NJ but I’m dying to get out and do some research, I’m tired of just sitting on the sidelines listening to other people tell their encounters, I’m ready to get in the ring and box so to speak! Let me know.
